Banshee -- New Cinemax action series from Alan Ball -- Coming January 11, 2013

Synopsis:
'Banshee' stars Antony Starr as Lucas Hood, an ex-con and master thief who assumes the identity of the sheriff of Banshee, Pennsylvania, where he continues his criminal activities, even as he’s hunted by the shadowy gangsters he betrayed years earlier.

Looks pretty good and very stylish. Once again like Strike Back and Hunted, I guess noone in this forum will be watching it except me and Deftones since noone here fucking has Cinemax.
Too bad. Good to see Cinemax getting some scripted shows in their library. Now if they will only release The Transporter.

It looks okay. I like Alan Ball for Six Feet Under and American Beauty but True Blood is kinda so-so. I'll check it out though for curiosity sake.

I have the same problem with Cinemax as I do with shows on Starz and lots of other cable channels: I just never think about their shows at all. I don't watch anything on TNT, USA, Cinemax or Starz. I watch enough stuff as it is, so it can be difficult to work in new things, especially if they air on channels that I never watch. I'll try to remember to give this one a try.

Judging by the other Cinemax shows, this will be garbage. Hopefully Ball holds himself to some standards and doesn't fall into Cinemax's quality pit.

I'm a couple of episodes behind on Haunted and I'm debating whether or not to get back to them via On Demand. I just can't get into it. Don't know if I really want to see how it ends since I know the finale aired this week.
