Games you love, but other gamers think you are weird
I love the pc game "Farming Simulator 2013".

However, I am sure most you fellas reading this gave a "WTF" look at the screen. I understand that this type of game is as exciting as watching paint dry to most gamers. However, my dad was a farmer and I grew up around farming up until his passing in 1996. I had no clue this type of game even existed until a month ago.

Operation Flashpoint: Cold War Crisis. I don't play this anymore, but it remains one of, if not my single favorite game of all time. Huge open worlds, tons of weapons and vehicles, map/scenario editor, mod tools, a great community. The game showed me what would be possible on PCs in the future.
Most people probably couldn't get over the marginal graphics (which I thought were actually pretty good), poor animations/controls, and brutal difficulty.

Bullet Witch. The game has problems in every area, but I just love every minute of it and even finished the hardest difficulty for 1 point of achievement. It is stupid fun.

I like Dynasty Warriors and I like Gundam games, so Dynasty Warriors Gundam (or Gundam Musou) is right up my alley. It's pretty crappy, even by DW standards, but I still play it. I also have a ton of anime-related DW-style games like Bleach, St. Seiya, and even the new One Piece game (which isn't that bad).

This gen?
Deadly Premonition
Asura's Wrath
Bayonetta
I'm getting to the point where I want unique experiences with games.

That's easy, Rumble Roses XX, every so often I break it out. Yes the achievements are ridiculous but the engine is not that bad, and there is just something funny about an all women's wrestling game. I always get weird looks but I could care less.

Really? That has to be one of the few games with seemingly infinite appeal. That, along with the Sims, is one game I've found most everyone has played and enjoyed.
In grade 8 I remember having to do a video project for our French class with this really cute girl. I was kind of a nerd, and I remember being amazed when I went to her house and she was playing RCT. I fell in love with her right then. Now we're married. Nope, that never happened - the last bit.
To this day, I'm always amazed by the number of people I meet who've been obsessed with those games. People who aren't gamers and never really were, who you would never expect to be into an amusement park management game.

I always enjoyed Giants but no one else I knew did. It was a clunky kind of fun to me.

Everyone knows I'm the lone fan of the Lost Planet Series in these parts.
Bayonetta is also one of my faves but even that game is less hated than Lost Planet around here.

I've never understood all the love those games get. They look boring as hell to me. Strategy and simulator games are two genres I have never cared for because they look like they would be boring games to play. I don't like saying that because when I do I always get the "oh, you don't like strategy games, you must be stupid" look. No, I'm a fairly intelligent person but I don't play games I don't perceive to be entertaining and neither of those genres look entertaining to me. I did attempt to play one of the SimCity games at one point, but I couldn't figure out what the hell I had to do.
