Good job setting everything up for the finale.

Looking forward to see what Richard does now, I assume it involves him killing a lot of people. I wouldn't want to be Gillian or Gyp.

Three things:

#1 - poor Eddie, always the fall guy.

#2 - that final entrance with Al Capone - magnificent! Cigar et al.

#3 - Atlantic City better watch out for Richard Harrow.

***actually, four things***

#4 - Gyp Rosetti is a dead man before the season ends. Either by Capone, or by Harrow.

(And what the hell happened to Rosetti's Napoleon hat?)

Didn't see the Capone thing. I like how they made you think that Eli turned his brother in.

One thing is for sure, Nucky had better remember all the favors and goodwill people are showing him after he's been an ass.

I hope nothing happens to Richard or Chalky.

Nucky not knowing about Eddie's family is certainly indicative of him and how he doesn't care about anyone.

Loved seeing Richard lay out his immaculate weapons .. the finale is setup to be fantastic.

Capone is fantastic..

capone is indeed awesome, great casting. Not sure what richards plan is, rossetti really hasn't done anything to him, other than make a little mess of a whorehouse.

This episode is within the top 5 hours of television that I've ever watched. In-fucking-credible!

Chalky (nee Omar Little), Richard Harrow, and Al Capone. I think Mr Rosetti might be in for a spot of bother next week.

I wish the finale was a two-hour episode

Triumvirate of bad-asses.

I'm still not quite sure what Richard's plans are. But it was awesome seeing him packing nothing but his guns on his way out the door.

Show is so much better without Margaret and Billy's silliness wasting screen time.

I'm thinking Richard is going to be mostly about getting the kid out of the brothel, and whomever happens to get in his way will get ventilated.

LOVED this episode!

I was seriously concerned that Eddie wasn't going to make it. His character would really be missed.

Richard 'packing' and Capone showing up were 2 great moments.

It's a real bummer that there's only one episode left this season.

I think it's just demonstrates how messed up and selfish Gillian is that her brothel is completely overrun, and she chases off the only person capable of looking after her son...err...grandson.

I fear for Richard's survival though.

Yeah, I see him using the sniper rifle to thin out the guards and then going in like Arnold in the police station in Terminator.

I don't think he'll join Nucky, so my ideal ending for him is that he, Tommy, and Julia (I think?) ride off into the sunset.

Heck, I thought Eli's son turned him in with the way his body language was.

Eli was able to convince Capone to help out? Give that man a raise! I guess Nucky can now forgive him for trying to kill him.

I hope Nucky changes as a person with all that's happened. And it'll be interesting to see what characters are left for next season. A lot of them could either die or go away.

Richard had blood on his face so it could be a possibility.

I can't wait until next week, and I hope that wasn't a spoiler from the previews?

Re: Boardwalk Empire -- "Two Imposters" -- 11/25/12

This has been a weak season, but they FINALLY got it all right tonight!

I can't wait to see Richard go Commando on the brothel. I have a feeling he'll die in the process - I really hope he doesn't - but either way I think we're in for some incredible carnage. We've seen time and again he is not a guy you want to piss off.

Capone's entrance = brilliant. Cigar chompin' and all, I was really hoping to see his alignment this episode.

Overall, this was easily the most intense episode of the season, and in many ways it reminded me of The Sopranos as that neared the series finale. Obviously we know Nucky isn't going anywhere, but the fact they can even have you wondering makes for great TV.

Re: Boardwalk Empire -- "Two Imposters" -- 11/25/12

I don't get Richard's plan or motives to get the kid out. I know he doesn't approve of the kid there, but it does not seem like a reasonable motive to get the kid out in that matter. If the kid was turning tricks for perverts, sure, then go Rambo on the place... but nothing like that is going on.

Regardless... great TV!

Re: Boardwalk Empire -- "Two Imposters" -- 11/25/12

Richard loves the boy like his own son.

The brothel is becoming seedier and quite potentially more dangerous by the minute.

He knows Gillian is psychotic.

He also thinks that he could give the boy a stable home with his girlfriend.

As for his plan, we'll see...

Re: Boardwalk Empire -- "Two Imposters" -- 11/25/12

The kid is Jimmy's son, and Richard has all but adopted him. Plus his dislike and total loss of respect for Gillian has grown very rapidly. He has begun to see himself with the possibility of a family and a future, and Gillian flat out told him that was never going to happen. I'm not certain, but he may also hold Gillian responsible for her part in leading Jimmy to his demise, not to mention disgracing his memory with the farce of faking his death as an overdose.

So true.

I can't wait for the finale but in no way do I expect it to be better than last night's episode. I refuse to watch the preview for the finale, as I want to go in completely clueless of what takes shape. I really do wonder how Van Alden's storyline finishes for the season.

I wonder if this is the last we've seen of Margaret. *crossing my fingers*
