Best Buy ad for movies

@JohnIan, I feel the same way. I hope you had a good Thanksgiving! I restrained myself this year and only getting 2 things. It's a rare moment. How was your haul?

Seven titles.

Last year was more like fifteen.

"The Vampire Diaries" S3, "Dirty Little Liars" S2, "Prometheus", "The Amazing Spider-Man", "Wrath Of The Titans", "Sherlock Holmes: A Game Of Shadows" and "A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas".

Picked up the BF ad from Best Buy, but did not go in - the line was way too big at 1AM. Went to Target, but didn't buy anything. Their selection was crap on a cracker this year. Passed on Big Lots, all the comments about them not actually having anything worthwhile new.

If "The Lorax" was the 2012 version, I'd be tempted to pick it up for $4.99. But the 1972 version is the one that's on sale. Meh.

Nothing for me in the ad.

Nice small haul! I agree that I was quite disappointed with Target's sales this year and Walmart was a bit too crazy for me to attempt. It was nice that many titles were available online so no need to even step inside the store. I dropped in late afternoon and there were still lots of stock left, quite surprisingly.

Update...

CDs

Games

This took a lot longer than expected. The website hasn't listed their ad in the conventional pixs of the advertisement - which is what I've been waiting for. Had to take screen snaps and edit them together.

Re: Best Buy DVD prices (November 25th - December 1st, 2012)

Thanks John/snausages! Nothing in the current ad interests me. Spent enough $$$ on BF that unless I REALLY want it, I'll pass.

Most of what I got on BF was price-matched by Amazon so I managed to avoid the insanity. By the time I finally made it to Walmart at 11am, I (somehow) managed to find the 2 blu-rays I'd gone there for (X-Men: First Class and Green Lantern: Extended Edition for $7.96 ea.) and the crowd had thinned considerably by then, so I felt lucky this BF.

Cyber Monday sucked. -kd5-

Yeah, Target BF night basically sucked. Got just one item (Contact blu, $4). At least I didn't need to stay up until 1 am to find out. But I forgive them, because of the LOTR Extended deal of the days before ($15, after the 3 $5 off Hobbit coupons).

You lucked out that Walmart was manageable by the time you went there. A friend of mine said it was insane earlier in the evening. People were grabbing whatever they could get their hands on. LOL!

BF 2011 was great, I found a few titles I wanted; better selection - better deals. I'm glad too that I didn't have to wait until midnight to be disappointed. Walked in (no lines), walked out.

This was true. I was in store at 6PM waiting for eight. It was mess, they had the movies in the frozen food section. The space was limited to walk/move. Then there was this woman in a scooter trying to find titles.
