Jimmy Smits is good! Loved Nero's re-entry to a situation in which he did not want to find himself again. (The realization on his face after Clay answers his question was awesome.)
Really glad to see Donal Logue too. I've always liked his acting and his shows don't ever get enough credit.
(And Tara Summers looked nice and piece-of-ass-ey again. I enjoyed her leaving Tara's office.)

Anyone watching this anymore?
Pretty decent season. Looking forward to seeing how it turns out. Yes, Smits is awesome. Far cry from Bobby Simone.

They should say RICO a few more times each episode.
Jimmy Smits is awesome. Best character on the show in a long time. Too bad he most likely won't make it to next season.

I watch this show pretty much to see what happens next though it really grates on me how many times Sutter has to use the same damn crutch of "Person A knows something but it doesn't get to Person B in time." It happened a few times just in this episode with Jax not telling Bobby why they were going to Clay's, or Nero not knowing it was the Cartel that took Jax. The story always relies on some external action in order to explain why things don't happen.

I was about to say they were below their avg death count this ep - the guy Nero shot....1 would be below the avg. But then I forget the automatic weapons shootout where that jalopy of station wagon made it down a mountain and driveable. I have to think some of those Mexicans bit it.

I'm ready for them to wrap up the Cartel and the Pope stuff.
RICO is dead, Jax is handing the Cartel an alternative pipeline and there really is no reason to keep it going. Well except the keeping Clay alive part; though Sutter has half-assed that into Jax needing to bring Clay to the table and Bobby now trying to do some end around. If they are going to make Jax into a badass, he needs to walk up to the guy who killed his father, put a hit out on his wife, beat his mother, killed Piney and caused the deaths of Opie and his wife and just shoot him (or knife him). "Jesus Christ" what does it take? Evidence to take to the table? Really?
The Pope storyline has kind of fizzled and I hope the next 2 shows puts an end to it, but I'm starting to wonder if they carry it forward as part of the Hale development stuff. If they do end it I'm guessing (no inside info)

They wrapped up a lot in this episode, setting it up for the season finale.
Why didn't Jax let Bobby and Chibbs in on his plan from the beginning? There's going to be a credibility issue when Clay denies everything.

in the world of SOA people take two shot weapons into a room they know to have more than two people in them. What was he going to do, ask them to wait, while he pulled the gun from his shoulder holster?
i am not sure what Bobby is up to. he sees jax has good ideas, so i don't see him backing Clay for the gavel. i dont see him as being close to clay, so i think this is some plan of jax' that we didnt see.
i also don't believe jax gives tig to pope. i think there is some alternate reality stuff that ends with tig setting pope on fire. maybe then someone kills tig for killing donna and setting everything that came after in motion. maybe Happy, just because he needed to kill something before he goes babysitting.
