Person of Interest -- "Critical" -- 11/15/12
Synopsis:
"Critical" - The Machine gives Finch and Reese the number of a brilliant surgeon, but they soon discover that a resourceful third party has raised the stakes for this POI, forcing them to turn to an unlikely source for help, on PERSON OF INTEREST, Thursday, Nov. 15 (9:01 - 10:01 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Awesome episode.
So many intricacies to this plot. The scenes in the operating room were pretty intense. Nice to see Ken Leung back as well.
Looks like Julian Sands is going to be another recurring villain. We still have Root in play along with Elias even though he's in jail.
Now we also have Reese's old partner, who was introduced last season, as another potential recurring villain. Damn, I love how this show structures self contained plots along with recurring storylines.
at Finch getting ready to gag after seeing the chest cracked open.
Plus, we finally find out what Carter's 1st name is...Joss

The more I like a CBS show the less posts its threads receive here.
I like that there's a stable of "supervillians" now and they keep getting better. Looking forward to Reese's old partner coming to the forefront.

fuck this show is fantastic. so layered, it's ridiculous. love that they brought back Ken Leung. maybe he'll be like Zoe and help out from now and then.

My heart was racing during this episode. This is the first one I have watched twice!! Wow how they will keep this going is beyond me. Best show on TV for me.

Loved the opening scene when Reese asks who would be stupid enough for their number to come up twice, then Leon comes crashing out of the window right in front of him. Also, the casual way he dispatched the mob goons.
I also like the growing stable of supervillains. It adds some authenticity that there are some bad guys Reese and Finch can't catch on the first try.

I like how they bring people in that could be brought back, but at the same time there isn't a huge plot point left dangling so that if they didn't show up again it wouldn't be a huge let down

Ah, you are a year late. John called her "Joss" in Season 1, Episode 9 ("GET CARTER") after she had been shot by Bottlecap.
So, her first name was revealed almost a year ago.
Season 2, Episode 7 was AMAZING! The person of interest's storyline was compelling, the introduction of a spy from Reese's past was shocking, the confrontation between Carter, Snow and Stanton in the tunnel was riveting, and the scene between Carter and Reese in the diner was amazingly intense! Great episode!

I was a little surprised Finch would allow that corrupt accountant into the lair without supervision. I do think he'll make a fine addition to the regular cast of characters, which is where that storyline is heading. They all but telegraphed it with this episode.
