What's the name of the actor who played "The Body" (green shirt guy). He looks so familiar, can't pinpoint what I've seen him in.
Solid episode, best part was Taco throwing the soccer ball at Kevin.

What? Fidelio?
Andre used that before in the Bobbum Man episode and maybe another one before that.
Good episode. The Kevin monkey parts were funny. Not sure what I was hoping for but The Body didn't really do it for me. He was much funnier in the Class Reunion episode.

BTW, this was the episode where there was reportedly a "fight" on set and Ken Marino got arrested.

The douchebags were surprisingly hilarious. Guy who kept saying the wrong thing and the seed and the rest of them doing the huge dick thing had me laughing out loud. Took me a minute to place but I knew I recognized the seed guy and it's from childrens hospital. Not a big fan of that show but I record it and I don't think I've seen him in any other shows.

That's funny you say that because Ken Marino (the Seed) seems to be in everything I watch. He always seems to grab bit roles or one episode appearances.

If you didn't recognize Ken Marino...then you probably never saw Party Down...which you need to rectify immediately.

Yeah, there's sort of a rat-pack of comedic actors that Marino is in. They populate The League, Children's Hospital, NTSF:SD:SUV, Party Down (speaking of which there is apparently going to be a moivie version), etc. They take turns guesting in each other's shows.

Ken Marino is probably best remembered as being a member of MTVs The State back in the 90s. He was Louie, the guy who came in said his catch phrase over and over again. (I Wanna dip my balls in it!)
He was on the second season of NBC's Men Behaving Badly, and since then has populated many shows and films that have anything to do with other former members of The State. He was also on Veronica Mars.

Marino is in pretty much anything directed by David Wain (Role Models, Wanderlust, Wet Hot American Summer, The Ten, The State (TV Series), Childrens Hospital (co-creator)) and various other things. And Ruxin has been on Childrens Hospital numerous times which makes the whole "fight" thing seem like bullshit.

Felt the same way. Typically the "outsiders" that pop up in these sort of episodes in other series are just a crappy derivitive of the core group and usually fall flat. These guys were just as funny, and in a completely different way than the main characters. I was surprised how entertaining they were in and of themselves. Kudos to the writing and performances.

Surprised at the love this episode got, I thought that it was by far the worst episode of The League that I've seen in quite a while.

Re: The League -- "The Tailgate" -- 11/15/12
For me the best episodes of the league are the ones with semi plausible plot points (Ruxin towing his car constantly because he doesn't want to leave it at the bar but doesn't drive drunk, Pete buying the crown vic and people thinking he's a cop). This one was somewhere in between. Not as far fetched as Taco owning the Dallas Cowboys domain name (which I do know is partially based on a true event)but still a bit outlandish to think a dude would be jerking off in public and wiping it on people and wouldn't be immediately arrested.
