666 Park Avenue -- Sundays (ABC)
Tonight is episode 7 of the original 13 episodes. No news on whether it will continue beyond that.
Since this show isn't called "The Walking Dead" or "Dexter" or "Homeland" it's not worth continuing weekly threads for it. This will be the thread of record for now.
Synopsis for tonight:
"Downward Spiral" - Henry's political career continues to rise when he receives a special commendation from the Mayor for his heroic actions. However his exultation is tempered by Jane's ever-changing mood about staying at The Drake, where she no longer feels safe. Meanwhile, Jane discovers that both Nona and her missing grandmother, Lottie Clark, have mysterious connections to the building; Brian determines that Alexis has been duplicitous when it comes to Louise and her "affair" with Dr. Evans; and back at the hospital, the good doctor learns the unethical terms of his payback to Gavin in exchange for his help. Finally, Jane and Nona discover one of The Drake's ultimate secrets as they search for Lottie - a secret that will change Jane's life forever -- on "666 Park Avenue," SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 11 (10:01-11:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.

I'm out. Watching this show felt like work. Thankfully the wife agreed and I just freed up 40 minutes per week. I really like John Locke too...

This show tried too hard and never found its footing.

How are the ratings?
Since Sundays are really busy we watch this later in the week, most of the time closer to Fridays or Saturdays... so yeah, not really a high priority.

I tried to like this one, but I just could not stay interested in it. I didn't watch the last two episodes.

By burn off, do you mean air them, or not? I'm bummed about this...really enjoyed the show. Sounds like I was one of the few though. I wasn't figuring on getting renewed, but was hoping to at least get some resolution. Oh well.

Many of their sets were damaged or destroyed by Hurricane Sandy? Will they just rebuild them to finish the remaining episodes?

I read yesterday that apparently they are still filming and will complete the 13 ordered episodes like Last Resort. So, in a perfect world, that does give them time to write episode 13 as a wrap up.

Crossing my fingers that they do this. It's not great, but I kinda like it and hope they resolve the Jane, Nona, and occult artifact storylines. And hopefully, they'll "write" Kadinsky into oblivion...

Dave Annable tweeted today that they still have 2 episodes left to film. So it's definitely feasible to get some sort of wrap up.

Sure hope they do offer at least some resolution. I don't need everything tied up in a nice bow...in fact I'd prefer a few things unanswered, but at least give it a proper conclusion. With a show like this I'm ok with it being 13 episodes and done...has that extended mini-series feel and honestly I'm not sure how long this one could have continued as a series. As a mini-series/one season shot it's perfect..kind of like American Horror Story being one story per season. We'll see how they end it, but I've been very happy with it so far. Here's hoping for a good conclusion!

I think it was a little too soapy for horror tastes, though the casting was spot-on for every role. After reading that ABC wanted it to be this year's Revenge, I think it skewed too heavily female for some interested viewers. I think making the main characters an unmarried couple (not even engaged) was a sticking point in telling an effective scary tale here.

I have the last 4 episodes saved on my DVR. I kind of enjoyed it and was saving them for the December haitus of the rest of my shows.
But I guess I will just delete them. Don't really care for them anymore after this news.

I really wish a major network would just add a horror series like Tales from the Crypt.
