Ever Seen Episodes NOT Included in a Season Set?
So, I was going through the "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" Season 8 DVD and inside with the episode listing, there was one 'The Glory That Was' which said "This episode is not included in this collection due to content issues".
No explanation on why, though I did find this on Wikipedia:
Anyway, has anyone encountered something similar?
Edit: This is probably better suited in the DVD Talk section, could mods please move it?

Aired in Brazil on September 3, 2009 by AXN, this episode caused uproar at the headquarters of Rio de Janeiro bid for the 2016 Summer Olympics. Mayor Eduardo Paes expressed disgust for the show, claiming it was "ridiculous and pathetic". State governor Sérgio Cabral Filho said jokingly that "now even [Law & Order's] screenwriters are desperate."

Absolutely
The idiots at Lionsgate released Boomtown season 1 on DVD after the series was cancelled, but forgot to put the 6 episodes episodes from season 2 that was produced. It should have been released as "The Complete Series" A grand total of 24 episodes was produced (18 for season 1, 6 for season 2). The DVD was released in July 2004. The last produced episode aired on December 2003. It's inexcusable those season 2 episodes weren't included in that set.

Haven't they pretty much removed South Park episodes 200 and 201 from existence? I don't know about the DVD set but its not on Netflix.

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Season 5 set was missing 3 episodes. These were later released on the Season 10 set:

I believe all the released Tick seasons in America had one missing episode per season. At the time it was claimed for legal reasons, but I always thought it was simply a tactic to get fans to purchase the series over again, once a complete box set was released. When the DVD market started tanking, plans for a complete box set disappeared. In the UK the DVDs included all episodes.

Re: Ever Seen Episodes NOT Included in a Season Set?
Family Guy has had several episodes not released on the season sets, but were released by themselves (the star wars episodes, the abortion episode).
In Living Color and Chappelle's Show had chunks of episodes removed due to music rights issues.
Robot Chicken changed a few of their episodes to remove scenes they didn't have the rights to make. I know they had to delete an Archie's scene in one episode and another episode had a scene with Beavis and Butt-Head meeting the Teen Titans removed from it. They also released their Star Wars episodes outside the season sets.
Beavis and Butt-Head has only had selected episodes released from its original run due to Mike Judge's refusal to release all of them. Also, almost all of the music videos they made fun of were of course removed as well. But these weren't season sets, so it was not false advertising.
