The Last Tycoon (Hong Kong, Dec 2012) - Chow Yun Fat & Sammo Hung together at last!
Oh man, this might be my most anticipated movie for the rest of the year. Unfortunately it's directed by Hong Kong hack supremo Wong Jing, but the starpower has me salivating.
"Hong Kong acting bigwigs Sammo Hung, Chow Yun Fat and Francis Ng were in a press conference in Hong Kong on Wednesday, promoting their upcoming triad film The Last Tycoon.
The film marked the first time in 30 years that veterans Hung, 60, and Chow, 57, had worked together.
Directed by Wong Jing and produced by Andrew Lau, The Last Tycoon is an adaptation of 1920-1930′s Shanghai crime boss Du Yuesheng."

From that trailer, it's obvious that this has a lot more action than the Elia Kazan version with Robert De Niro.
