Didn't expect so many of the prisoners to get offed that quickly, but it was great to see that happen; both the crazy guy killing the big guy that quickly and violently, and Rick not thinking twice about getting rid of him later on. I expected there to be more ambiguity in heat of battle that occurs in the comics with a similar situation, or at least more hesitation there. Along with locking out the other guy that ran away, they sure are making Rick a heartless SOB.

Loved the prison guys attacking zombies just like a prison kill would happen though

Was a really good episode though I don't like forced things like locking out the guy instead of killing him. You know he's just going to escape and let the zombies.

I would have brought the last two inmates into the fold because you know they need all the help they can get.

Too much zombie killing. Not enough character development.

Man, last week we got zombies in riot gear. This week, zombie upskirt complete with dirty panties.

Was that Merle watching Carol?

Awwww poor Big Tiny.

Why the brothers always gotta go first? Well, other than D'Lo Brown who's been there since day 1.

Boy he really did look like D'Lo tonight wearing that bullet proof vest.

Sorry, Big Tiny, there's only room for one stupid nickname in this group, and it's T-Dog.

I'm surprised there are no comments yet on Lori's "not moter of the year" speech.

Loved that standoff between Rick and Tomas, and Rick taking care of business.

Carol practicing on the dead walker is an interesting idea. I like how Glen kept saying "It's totally sane" and you know he was really thinking "this is fucking crazy."

Rick ain't bullshitting. He split one guy's wig, chased Guy Torry into the middle of a zombie pack and left the other two to fend for themselves.

Ugh, Lori is so annoying. I was hoping zombie Herschel was going to bite off her face.

Pretty fantastic episode. I don't have anything constructive to add to the discussion at the moment, but I really enjoyed it and Rick's bad-assery is a treat to watch.

Re: The Walking Dead -- "Sick" -- 10/21/12

Well, still no appearance by "Herschel Walker" tonight. That's a good thing.

Fucking Carl left "the house" again. That's a bad thing. Even if something good came of it, it was really stupid and is one of the reasons I hate the character. I'm also irritated that no one else in the group thought to look for an infirmary.

Love that they dispensed with the nutjob prisoner right away. I thought he was going to be another Pope (Falling Skies).

And Lori is still an annoying bitch...

Props to the writers for improving this show. Not hard to do after last season, but still. They smartened and hardened the characters up and shit isn't taking four episodes to get resolved.

I liked it. Glad Herschel pulled through, and the gang is safe for now. Hope to see more of those prisoners, once they earn more trust it seems they could be an asset.

D'Lo Brown

I loved this episode. I loved Carl holding the gun. Rick and crew watching the prisoners fuck up the first round of kills.

I even liked Lori telling Rick to kill the prisoners. It almost makes me think that they wrote her the way they did the last two seasons on purpose and are just now getting it to sound right.

Rick has basically turned into Shane. I dont understand why he let those two prisoners live after he chased down the kid who did nothing but run away. In for a penny in for a pound. Might as well kill all of them at that point. But at least the guy did give Rick a reason. Lori hadn't even laid eyes on any of them and wanted them dead.

Wow, intense episode.

That was crazy. You know they've probably killed 100+ zombies on screen and when he killed Tiny it made my stomach turn a little. Very different watching the same kind of kill on someone who isn't a walker yet.

I thought the audio made it pretty clear that he didn't make it. I was expecting to see the zombie version of him walking around under where Lori & Rick had their heart-to-heart.

Speaking of Herschel, I guess no one else will be offering to do CPR on this show anymore.
