I liked this episode, particularly since it didn't deal too much with the locals. Next week's preview looks very good.
I wish this got the ratings that Revolution gets. I fear this will get canned w/o a real ending.

The ratings actually seem to be settling in enough I'm thinking it gets a whole season. They're not lighting the world on fire, but maybe they will shake things up enough to get Nashville out of the Wednesdays at 10 slot it isn't doing well in and this could get slotted in there?

ABC ordered 2 scripts tonight. It's a positive sign, but it doesn't mean those episodes will be filmed.

They did the same for 666 Park Avenue. Maybe it's a contest -- one of them dies, and they're trying to figure it out.

I find myself way more interested in the story they're not telling. We just nuked 300 million Muslims and the US isn't at DefCon 1? People are still acting like everything is normal in the American scenes.
I couldn't care less about the island crime guy or the lady bar owner and their storylines.

However, since we have both the weapons and the delivery system, the world is probably just hoping that we are not so pissed as to glass some country over with 7000 weapons, or a large subset of them. The Russians are probably on high alert, but hoping we just calm down. After all, we nuked our supposed ally. (Frankly, they would have avoided provoking us with incidents like trying to steal the sub. Their satellite system and sensor arrays probably gave them a decent view of what the hell was going on, even if they don't understand the reasons. They would likely know we fired on our own submarine and another sub fired two nukes.)
Everyone (including us) would be very tense, but pretending to be calm in hopes of avoiding global thermonuclear war.

No, we only used 2 nukes. You can't get that many people in the blast radius.
