Thanks John/snausages! Nothing of interest to me in the ad but I'll probably check out the unadvertised specials. -kd5-

I didn't know they made Wrong Turn 5 already. I just watched Wrong Turn 4 and thought I was all caught up.
Would definitely pick up that title at the right price.

Re: Target DVD prices (October 21st - 27th, 2012)
Can anyone help me with this question? I am trying to find out if the blu ray of Mad Men has a bonus disc. I have been to 2 Target stores and I have seen the dvd copy with the sticker but all of the blu ray copies do not have a sticker. I ran into the same problem with Spartacus a few weeks ago. Thanks in advance for the help : )

Re: Target DVD prices (October 21st - 27th, 2012)
I lazily wandered into Target tonight just to see if there were any unadvertised specials and was shocked to see that they had re-done their TV Section.
The $5 section was gone and they had brought back the 2-packs they had phased out. There were plenty of titles that hadn't been there, like E/R S1 and S15, Dallas 1/2, 3 and 4 and Heroes 1,2,3 and 4 in new packaging. Lots of stuff gone (some that I was hoping would be on sale for BF) like Borgias 1, Breakout Kings, Castle 1 and 2, Chuck 4, Covert Affairs 1, Glee 1,2 and concert, Gossip Girl 4, In Plain Sight 4, Supernatural 6, and Tudors 4.
The above is by no means a complete list, just stuff I could tell had come or gone and many of the absent titles are on the website now as "Not Sold in Stores".

Can anyone help me with this question?
It gives every indication that it's for both DVD and Blu-Ray.
What I can say is that these things are a 'first come, first served' kind of deal. Stores may have gotten a limited number of Blu-Ray copys with the bonus disc.
An example would be the bonus disc for "Revenge". I remember this all too well. I was so-so sick that morning, but I went to my DVD crawl just the same. I'm anal. I couldn't find it. I saw one of the stockers and asked for help. She searched her cart full of the new releases and pulled out a copy. A single copy. I looked at her cart. There was only ONE, the rest were basic copies. I bought it and that was that.
What day and time did you go looking? It may have already been sold out. It happens.
Or they never got. Years ago, they had an exclusive booklet for "Across The Universe" DVD set. It was advertised, squat. Nobody had it. I recall reading people were upset. So it does happen, though - very rare.

I saw Magnum PI Season 1 and 2 2 pack. Price sticker said $15 but item rang up as $19.99. Got a price adjustment. These were six disc sets and not the previously released flippers. Not sure how long these have been available but I believe this is fairly recent. I saw season 1 at Best Buy for $19.99 by itself so seems a good deal. Seasons 3 and 4 were also available.

For those interested the 2 Targets in my area had 2 different prices for Wrong Turn 5 19.99 and 14.99. I checked the 14.99 one and thats what it rang up as. So i guess the price on it is YMMV it seems, Or one just had a errror.

^ Yeah, mine had changed things around as well.
DVD wise, I just picked up The Last House on the Left (2009). Still $5. Was happy to see that after not getting it last week.

Strapped tell me more about those sets especially the Dallas sets were they 1,2/3(because 1and 2 are in a single set) or just 3/4. Also how much were these and which store had them. Thanks

The online lookup is showing S1/2 and S3 as $19.99 but has S4 as more, but it also says that S3 and S4 are not sold in stores. So I don't know what's up, but they were there last week.

Re: Target DVD prices (October 21st - 27th, 2012)
Meanwhile, three other stores I've checked in the last week have also been reset. 3433 Sepulveda Blvd, Torrance, CA 90505 & 1701 N Gaffey St, San Pedro, CA 90731 & 1200 N Sepulveda Blvd,Manhattan Beach,CA 90266. The resets have left all the stores much more siilar in inventory.
Also, they're having a sale on many (though not all) of these newly brought in TV shows. I didn't see signage at all the stores, but the sale is going now. For example Scrubs S1-4 are $9.99 each, Cheers S1 is $7.99 and Drop Dead Diva S1-3 is $11.99 each. Other series I recall being there, but may not be on sale are 24 S5-8, Veronica Mars S1, two Seasons each of the Shield, Wire, and Golden Girls. And in the 2-packs section they have the new Mill Creek release of That 70's Show S5-6 for $14.99

Re: Target DVD prices (October 21st - 27th, 2012)
I haven't seen any mention of it, but the stand-alone release of Happy Endings S2 came out this week and Target has the better price (compared to BB) of $22.99.
And in fact, BB seems to not even be carrying it at any of the stores in my area. I wonder if this is a new trend, as Target seems to have skipped the recent release of the TV show Alcatraz. This will be weird and worrying imo if this trend of skipping releases continues.
