"The Butler's Escape" - Luke wants to quit magic and Phil just can't seem to accept it. Meanwhile, one of Gloria's new pregnancy symptoms is snoring and she's keeping the whole house awake, forcing Jay to take desperate measures; and Mitch and Cam's household dynamic is put to the test when they decide to swap duties -- Mitch staying at home with Lily while Cam goes off to work at his new job as the music teacher at Luke and Manny's school -- on "Modern Family," WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 17 (9:00-9:31 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.

ANother HR (Alright, a lead off double at least)for Modern Family. Kinda disappointed we only got one episode this week. I always find that when the episodes are not that LOL, they really tug at the heartstrings and vice versa. Really sweet scenes showing how Claire figured out what was bothering Alex and Phil and Luke (Lukini ) hugging at the end.

Surprised at the slap Gloria dished out.

In her defense, she thought he was cheating on her.

Pretty good episode.

Any one else notice the sight gag when Cam was writing his name on the board?

I thought it was pretty weak, especially after the two strong episodes last week. Luke disappearing was the highlight since it was so unexpected. Lily unplugging the piano was cute. Then Luke hugging Phil was a nice moment. Cam & Mitchell's story was lame and predictable. Same with Jay & Gloria. I didn't buy Alex as a bitch. So yeah, not much that I enjoyed outta this one.

I wonder if that was intentional.

Man that photo in the OP tries way too hard. It's comical.

There was a music symbol that looked like an "F", and then Cam wrote his last name "Tucker", but his head was blocking the "T".

Definitely on purpose.

Anyone notice the bottom of Jay's feet while he was eating on the bed in the hotel? They were positively FILTHY! What was that all about?

Manny and Luke's exchanges during music class were hilarious as well as Mitchell in the grocery store with Lily (BAAAAAAABP! Wrong!) and Claire yelling at Cam and Mitchell later.

Good episode.

I don't think they were dirty... just looked like red from poor circulation. I figure it's common among older people.

Jay seems to like the CFL... second time caught watching a Ti-Cat game.

My thoughts pretty much exactly - the sight gag was cute too with the music symbol, but a little too forced imo.

Don't get me wrong, this is my favorite comedy by far, but I'm very surprised to see most people here seemed to like this episode... found it to be easily bottom 5 or so that the show's ever had.
