Re: Retro Game Master (Game Center CX) 4 DVD set

I picked up this set right when it came out. It has the English dub versions that were "aired" on Kotaku, as well as the original Japanese versions. I'd suggest the original versions - I'm not a fan of the English narrator. I've only watched 4 episodes of the DVD set so far (though I've seen pretty much all of these episodes on YouTube already). Good stuff, and it's nice to see it in higher quality.

I know I'm spoiled by discounts on media, but man I have a hard time justifying 50 bucks for this set (on amazon). Is it on sale anywhere?

Not that I've seen, though I really didn't look anywhere besides Amazon.

DVD Planet's price actually went down a buck or two, so ordered! Thanks!

Re: Retro Game Master (Game Center CX) 4 DVD set

I bought it for $33 from DVDPacific. Excellent set, there are 4:3 episodes and there are 16:9 episodes correctly displayed, and the discs are actually Region 0, not Region 1 like it says on the back. I'd love for Discotek to release further collections.

I got cable TV last week, so I was finally able to watch the show broadcast in HD.
