Synopsis:

Maura Tierney Guest Stars as Wealthy Businesswoman Maddie Hayward and Nathan Lane Returns as Clarke Hayden, the Firm's Appointed Trustee

"And The Law Won" - Amidst staff and budget cuts at the firm, Will tries to help by turning down a low settlement offer in his first case back from suspension. Meanwhile, Alicia unexpectedly aids Peter's campaign, on THE GOOD WIFE, at a special time, Sunday, Oct. 7 (9:30-10:30 PM, ET/8:30-9:30 PM, CT/9:00-10:00 PM, PT) on the CBS Television Network. Maura Tierney ("ER") guest stars as wealthy businesswoman Maddie Hayward and Nathan Lane returns as Clarke Hayden, the firm's appointed trustee.

Is this The Good Wife or Blue Velvet? Kalinda's hubby needs to go. It's bad enough she got fingered in a ice cream shop, but to then have the fingers placed into the ice cream and then her still eat it... I don't even know what the target audience for that is.

Women who still fall for their divorced abusive husbands and actually like it?

I haven't watched the episode yet, but every time I see plots like this, having friends who have gone through abusive relationships, it angers me.

Trying to grab the "50 Shades of Grey" audience?

Can't say I have a big problem with it. Outside that particular story line this is still the best written show on network TV.

her eating the ice cream was hot, but not really appropriate for this show
