Your favorite Bond title theme?
Lots of classics throughout the years. My favorite though is Chris Cornell's "You Know My Name"
What's yours?

Goldfinger
I'm not even a big fan of this movie at all, but no other Bond song matches Shirley's vocal-power here.
2nd place would be Live and Let Die for me. Nice to have a song in the catalog that contains a fast beat (At times). This is probably my favorite of the visual title-credits too.

You know what? I fucking love the theme to A View To A Kill. It's the only thing I love from the movie, but love it I do.

Went with Live and Let Die for title theme, but I do love the opening to OHMSS. My overall favorite Bond song is also from OHMSS.

Re: Your favorite Bond title theme?
So we're talking about the title theme (music and/or song), not the visual sequence, right?
1) OHMSS
2) Diamonds are Forever
3) Goldfinger
4) The Living Daylights
5) Live and Let Die
Many of these are so damn good that apart from my number 1 and 2, 3-5 are probably interchangeable for me.

I think this should be judged based on listening to the song alone, not the movie or the credit sequence.
My favorite Bond theme song is "Live and Let Die" because it's the song I most like to listen to. And "Goldfinger" is a close second for me.
On a side note, I do miss the practice of sometime having multiple songs written for a single Bond movie. For example, I think KD Lang's song "Surrender" that was used in the closing credits for "Tomorrow Never Dies" was a better song than Sheryl Crow's theme song.
Here's where someone substituted it into the credit sequence:

I'm not exactly sure why as it isn't even one of my favorite Bond films and I'm not a big fan of Sheryl Crow, but for some reason the Tomorrow Never Dies song has always been one that sticks out to me. I also like Another Way to Die by Jack White and Alicia Keys for Quantum of Solace and Live and Let Die by McCartney and Wings is a classic too.

I have the ones I lean towards(Live and Let Die, Goldfinger, A View to a Kill) but don't know. I've forgotten how some of them go. Can someone hum them for me?

I gave some love to a-ha's The Living Daylights, but just as easily could have picked View To A Kill. I've seen Duran Duran many times over the years, and this track is always great live.

View To A Kill, because Duran Duran was so cool at the time . Until now, I think that was the last time a Bond theme hit #1 in the US*

Re: Your favorite Bond title theme?
The only post-Connery theme songs that stood out for me are: "Live and Let Die," "Man with the Golden Gun" and "View to a Kill." Nothing in between Golden Gun and View or since View has registered with me.

I expect much hate, but its going to be For Your Eyes Only, and The World is Not Enough. Special mention for You Only Live Twice.

The Man With The Golden Gun sounds so harsh, shrill, and grating on the ears. It could be my least favorite. All Time High and License To Kill both might be bland and unmemorable, but neitheir is truly offensive like Lulu's epic monstrosity.
