Pokemon inspires U.S. army weapons research
Remember that Pokemon episode that gave hundreds of kiddie viewers in Japan seizures back in 1997? Well, according to this article in the New York Post, that incident inspired the U.S. army to try to design a weapon which produced the same effects on a targeted population.
