'Sons of Anarchy's' Johnny Lewis Dies in bizarre double death

What the hell..
Actor Johnny Lewis, best known for playing prospect Kip "Half-Sack" Epps on FX drama "Sons of Anarchy" for two seasons, has died in Los Angeles in a bizarre incident, reports TMZ.
Law enforcement sources say the Los Angeles police found 28-year-old Lewis' body in a driveway of a home and the home's owner, a 70-year-old woman, was found dead inside, the victim of a homicide.
Neighbors say they heard the woman screaming, then saw a man outside her home attack two people with a piece of wood, before climbing onto the roof. The man has been identified as Lewis and it is as of yet unclear if he jumped or fell off the roof to his death. Lewis may have been renting a room from the woman and is suspected of killing her.
In addition to "Sons of Anarchy," Lewis also had recurring roles on "Boston Public," "American Dreams," "Quintuplets" and "The O.C."

yeah, that's sort of a dick spoiler. i mean, it doesn't reference the show last night, so someone might click it thinking something else.
fwiw, it was his choice to leave the show. he wanted to go on to bigger and better roles. guess not.

What a weird story. I liked him on the show and his death was a real bummer. More of a bummer in real life, of course, but if he really killed an 81-year-old woman...

Not so odd. If I remember correctly, the SAG minimum on a show is I believe somewhere around 2500/week and LA isn't the cheapest city to live in. Not to mention taxes, manager and agent fee's, guild dues, etc. I can see a low scale actor renting.

This reminds me of the dumbass from Prison Break who did something terrible like maybe DUI manslaughter.
