It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia pre-season 8 thread

Season 8 of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia doesn't start until Oct. 11, but these promos are too good not to post right now.

The cast has been replaced!

I laugh every time I see Xzibit do Sweet Dee's inflatable man dance.

Haley Joel Osment could easily play Mac's brother.

One of these days I'm going to watch this series. Too many people whose entertainment taste I trust say it is great.

I wonder if they actually will do a full episode with the replacements.

Odd-numbered seasons are fantastic, even-numbered seasons are usually garbage with the exception of the fourth season.

Season 2 was great though a lot of people felt the addition of Frank brought it down. I disagreed.

The quality of season one was fantastic. It was the equivalent of eating dinner at a fine steakhouse like Morton's, The Palm, Smith & Wollensky, etc.

The quality of season two was the exact opposite. Instead of eating at a fine steakhouse, you're now eating at the Outback and the waiter punches you in the gut once you've taken your last bite.

I just started watching it last year and am now catching up on all the reruns as they are in syndication and I'm hooked. I don't think the show is for everyone, as it is usually hit or miss between my friends.

Season 2 had Dennis and Dee Go on Welfare, so I guess the moral is at least you're still eating steak. The punch to the gut just means you'll enjoy it more next time.

Followed the next week by Mac Bangs Dennis' Mom. That is an amazing one-two punch for the show. They're two of my favorite episodes.

Yeah, he seemed to actually fit it well.

Re: It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia pre-season 8 thread

I love the show, and it is hit and miss. The comedies that dare to go really OUT THERE seem to be that way. South Park for example is brilliant but to me extremely hit and miss. Some amazing episodes and some that are terrible. Sometimes when you dare to take chances you sometimes fall on your face.

It's weird to see Haley Joel Osment like that. He'd be great on the show.

Chael P. Sonnen, renaissance man! He looks like a gigantor monster sitting next to Dennis (or Dennis looks like a pipsqueak).

Yeah, Dennis looks so small in every way in that interview. Tiny head...tiny arms.

Unpossible, season 7 was an odd # season.
