I watched! I watched!
I thought Hader's Carville was good as usual, but not his best appearance. Hader really seems comfortable in his role.
And Moynihan's Drunk Uncle felt tacked-on. Like time-filler. Didn't seem to belong in a politically-themed epsiode.

This was not very good, with the exception of the clips of Sudeikis as Romney. The Drunk Uncle segment went on forever and nothing about it was funny (I've liked the segment in the past).

There were a few good parts but overall it sucked.

So, I think I know why SNL isn't as great during this election year. I think it's the candidates. Obama and Romney just don't lend themselves that well to caricature. Paul Ryan neither. Biden to some extent, but not enough to carry it.
In the 2008 election, we had Palin. Tina Fey's portrayal was a huge draw.
In 2004, we had W, and to some extent, Kerry.
In 2000, it was W again, and Darrell Hammond's Gore, which was great.
Going back further, Clinton was always great for Hammond's caricature, and there was elder Bush by Dana Carvey.
