Alot of TV and alot of really crowded timeslots this Fall. If your only a casual TV watcher and only watch a handful of shows, than this probably doesn't apply to you. But for those who do like to sit down and watch alot, I would love to know what you plan to do. Ex: Watch ### live, ### will be DVR'd, ### will be DVR'd via re-airs, or ### will be watched on Hulu or a Network site or I would love to watch ####, but fuck it's impossible!! Or you can be honest and say I have to kill show a, b, c off the schedule because it's impossible.

Yeah I know ABC, NBC and FOX have On Demand services for some providers. But, I know not everyone has access to it. Also, I know not everyone has a DVR or more than 1 DVR. So alot of creative juggling will be needed if you plan to watch everything you want to see.
For those who don't have cable and don't subscribe to Hulu Plus and only rely on Internet searches for some Scandanavian or Bulgarian website.... Good Luck, Enjoy sitting in front of your monitor for hours and hours! I would never be able to keep track of everything if I went the cheap route.
The Directv DVR and programming it saves me so much time. Plus, having Hulu Plus and setting Favorites for shows I can't record helps out too.

Mondays are tough, especially with RAW being 3 hours every week now.
You skipped Fridays, but Fridays at 9 have Grimm, Fringe and Nikita going head to head. That doesn't even include Made In Jersey on CBS which will probably have more overall viewers than those shows combined. Also doesn't include SmackDown on SyFy.

Sundays are a pain in the ass.
First hour: The Amazing Race, which is the only thing that hour, but it tends to run over because of live sporting events.
Second Hour: Dexter and Walking Dead
Third Hour: Whatever comp is on Food Network (gf watches these)
The only bad thing is The Amazing Race, which frequently spills over into the next hour. Fortunately, Dexter gets replayed about a million times, so it isn't a big problem with scheduling, but when we're away from home there's no way to know if TAR is going to run late, so I won't necessarily have time to pad it by an hour or so.

Thursday is my only trouble spot. The spare DVR will have to catch Big Bang Theory and Person of Interest. Otherwise, two DVRs will cover everything just fine.

WWE Raw and Smackdown also air on Universal HD on Saturday. That's how I watch them in the fall/winter/spring.
Monday is rough with Hawaii 5-0, Castle, and Revolution. I'll probably watch Revolution On Demand.

Yeah, I usually flip SmackDown to Saturday, but I don't want to wait all week to watch RAW.

Re: Which of these crowded timeslots will be a nightmare for your DVR this Fall?
Most of the shows I watch are either on In Demand the next day, or repeated 50 times throughout the week. The only conflicts I see are HIMYM and 2 Broke Girls on against Raw, and not even consecutively. They're not always available on In Demand I've noticed.
I haven't planned on watching any new shows yet, I'm trying to reduce the amount of TV I watch.

Looks like I won't have any major problems. I've pretty much decided what I wanted to watch, what I wanted to catch up on and what I wanted to drop. Bad thing is - I don't watch many of the shows right away so I can get behind quite easily. I'll DVR the musts and use streaming for the rest.
*There's a possibility that the new offerings for this season could be dropped all together (Mob Doctor, Mindy Project, Last Resort, 666 Park Ave).
*With White Collar going on hiatus and Boss concluding its season next month - even better for my schedule. Only thing I have to majorly catch up on is Parenthood as I missed the last 2/3rds of the season.
*Decided not to catch up with Grimm or Person of Interest (watched another random episode of PoI one night and it bored the hell out of me so I decided to let it go as a possibility).
*Revolution's pilot was pretty much garbage so that one is a no go.
*Only addition that could happen is that Elementary may find its way into my list. Still mulling that final decision over.

Re: Which of these crowded timeslots will be a nightmare for your DVR this Fall?
8:00 pm ET - ABC Family: Switched at Birth - ESPN: MNF - USA: WWE Raw
9:00 pm ET - ESPN: MNF - USA: WWE Raw - HIST - American Pickers
10:00 pm ET - CBS: Hawaii Five-O - NBC: Revolution - ESPN: MNF - USA: WWE Raw - HIST - Pawn Stars
I watch the MNF game LIVE. I'll record Raw on one recorder - I can't wait till Saturday to watch it.
On the other recorder - its Switch At Birth at 8:00 pm ET and either Hawaii-5-0/Revolution at 10:00
pm ET with the other I'll watch online. American Pickers/Pawn Stars - I record the Tuesday mornings -
1:02 am ET to 3:03 am ET - repeat.
Tuesday - 10:00 pm ET - CBS: Vegas - ABC: Private Practice - NBC: Parenthood - FX: Sons of Anarchy
LB: 10:00 pm ET - USA: Covert Affairs - A&E - Storage Wars (A&E - Shipping Wars - 9:00 pm ET)
Covert Affairs first repeat showing is Wednesday mornings at 1:00 am ET so you can record that one.
And since Sons Of Anarchy is a FX show - that will be repeated later in the week. For me its just Covert
Affairs on one recorder and Shipping Wars/Storage Wars on the other recorder.
Thursday - 8:00 pm ET - ABC: Last Resort - CBS: The Big Bang Theory/Two and a Half Men
CW: The Vampire Diaries - ESPN: College Football - NFL Network: NFL Football
9:00 pm ET - CW: Beauty and the Beast - ESPN: College Football - NFL Network: NFL Football
10:00 pm ET - ESPN: College Football - NFL Network: NFL Football - MTV: Jersey Shore
I have Time Warner Cable so I don't get NFL Network so I'm stuck either going to a friends to watch or
watch it online. If I'm watching online - then I'll have college football game or some other sports event
on the TV. As for recording - the CW shows on one recorder - CBS shows on the other recorder. I'll have
to watch - The Last Resort - online. (I wish it was on ABC at 9:00 pm ET or 10:00 pm ET.) Jersey Shore -
I'll just catch one of the "million" repeat showings that MTV does.
Friday - 8:00 pm ET - ABC: Shark Tank - SyFy: WWE Smackdown
9:00 pm ET - ABC: What Would You Do? - SyFy: WWE Smackdown - NBC: Grimm
If I'm home its watching college football on ESPN/ESPN2 or some other sports event LIVE so one recorder
gets the ABC shows - other recorder gets WWE Smackdown. Grimm - I'll watch online.
Sunday - 8:00 pm ET - CBS: The Amazing Race - NBC: NFL Football - ESPN: MLB Baseball
9:00 pm ET - NBC - NFL Football - AMC: The Walking Dead - TNT: Leverage
10:00 pm ET - NBC: NFL - AMC: The Talking Dead/Comic Book Men.
I watch the Sunday Night Football game or Sunday Night Baseball game LIVE. I record The Amazing Race and
Leverage on one recorder - The Walking Dead/Talking Dead/Comic Book Men on the other recorder. Lucky for
me - I live near Canada so I record the Amazing Race on CTV at 8:00 pm ET and thus don't have to worry
about those football run overs on CBS.
9:00 pm ET - ESPN: MNF - USA: WWE Raw - HIST - American Pickers
10:00 pm ET - CBS: Hawaii Five-O - NBC: Revolution - ESPN: MNF - USA: WWE Raw - HIST - Pawn Stars

would've been Sunday nights had I not got the HR34 from DirecTV in April. Now I have 7 tuners and nary a care in the world about missing a show.

Sunday will be most difficult. Thankfully being in west coast time football is over by 8 usually. Watching live, dvr and on demand will fill the rest

I was offered this (HR34) by DTV for the cost of a new contract. While I would love the extra tuners, any downside to it (slow, buggy, etc)? It would solve my Sunday night DVR in overdrive problem, but I can juggle that around if necessary thanks to repeated airings on the cable network shows.

Re: Which of these crowded timeslots will be a nightmare for your DVR this Fall?
Sundays and Thursdays for me. But Thursdays aren't even that bad. It's Sundays that cause headaches in our house.
