Seth MacFarlane, Frank Ocean headed for 'SNL'
"Saturday Night Live" is starting off strong with its 38th (38th!) season this fall.
NBC announced Wednesday that the late night sketch comedy show will be hosted by Seth MacFarlane, and will have a debut performance from critic-and-fan darling Frank Ocean, on its season premiere September 15.
And it only gets better from there: "Looper" star Joseph Gordon-Levitt will stop by on September 22 along with Mumford and Sons as the musical guest. It'll be the band's first time performing on "SNL."
That'll be followed by Bond himself - a.k.a. Daniel Craig - on October 6, with Muse as the group on deck to perform.
If you weren't already excited for the fall TV season to start, this should do the trick.

I just learned who was a month or so ago. Let's just say that he's a rapper that would welcome an invite to "get into [Billy Ocean's] car."

At this point, most think he'll stay as a regular till the election. Though he's said if he can do more work behind the scenes writing, he'd stay even longer. I think he just wants to full on transition into film/his own sitcom.

He's an R&B singer and no he's not related to Billy Ocean. He had an excellent mixtape out last year called Nostalgia, Ultra and released his first studio album Channel Orange a little over a month ago. Both albums are excellent. As Rypro said he sings the hook on Kanye/Jay-Z song "No Church In the Wild" off the Watch The Throne album. How bout doing some research and find out who these people are instead of blurting out 'who the fuck is Frank Ocean?' That might help.

Isn't Frank Ocean the rapper who recently came out?

I hadn't heard anything about Abby Elliot leaving until now. That sucks--so she's doing an arc of How I Met Your Mother and that's her new gig?
