Disappointed that of all the cribbing Sorkin does from his other shows this episode title isn't "What Kind of Day Has It Been?"

There are good things about this show, but the relationships are cringe worthy. I don't understand why he feels so compelled to push these forced, contrived ones when he has a lot to work with.

I guess the biggest accomplishment this show has done is that I hate Olivia Munn slightly less than I did when the show began.

Ok finale. But it really came off as a left-leaning talking points show with a smidge of extraneous character moments. The voter ID debate had me rolling my eyes. I don't know what to expect next season, but I heard Sorkin is tapping some actual conservative advisors, so we'll see.

Well the voter ID part is a part of the show that makes the most sense for what a good news program should cover. It should be a big deal on the news. Sadly, it's relegated to Sorkin's universe instead of the nightly news or cable.

Loved it. Especially the end with Sororrity Girl. I thought the answer he was going to give her was the note Mac wrote so I was genuinely surprised when he said "You."
If there's one thing they failed to establish for me this season is the WHY Jim is into Maggie. Lisa's had more character development than Maggie, who more often than not comes off as irritating.
Absolutely loved Olivia Munn in this episode. That was a great tender moment between her and Don and she nailed that "bad guy" speech perfectly.

Agreed. So far it's here and the Daily Show that it has gotten the most attention it seems.

Both Jim and Maggie's characters acted like idiots in the finale...to the point where they both deserve to be unhappy - at least for a while. I don't know about you, but if I were dating someone like Maggie and someone like Sloan told me she'd always had the hots for me, I'd dump Maggie so fast her head would spin. So I guess that makes Don dumber than Jim and Maggie put together.

Sloan and Lisa are both more interesting characters than Maggie and especially Sloan, though her confession to Don was awful. In general all of the relationship story lines have been pretty bad.

Let me ask this so I didn't misinterpret the episode:
The guy who committed suicide never provided any actual evidence that Jane Fonda's son (sorry, can't remember either character's name!) hacked phones...they just were playing a hunch and got him to admit it.
Also, I gathered that the TMI blonde didn't actually hack Mac's phone...but instead that a drugged-up Will sent his phone message to the WRONG person (the TMI blonde instead of Mac). Is that right? Or did they actually hack Mac's phone? I wasn't sure which was true.

Also, they recorded Reese admitting to it. Sure, it was a risky move for them to act like they had the evidence, but as soon as he admitted it, that was all they really wanted or needed.

I was kinda hoping they'd show the TMI woman killing herself. The close up of "Empty Trash" was a bit heavy handed. Also, the whole 180 of her character, trying to make her sympathetic was sorta, well, pathetic.
Anyone know notice Jim's last name is Harper? Maybe it was revealed earlier but I just found it kinda funny that there was a Jim Harper who is pining over a girl he works with who is currently in a relationship with another guy in the office. Not at all like Jim Halpert of The Office, not at all.
However... this show is otherwise brilliant.

The voter ID thing is tough because conservatives in a vacuum have a point. I value voting enough to want there to never be fraud. The problem is that if I wanted to commit voter fraud, I could spend 10 minutes and do probably 100 times as much voter fraud by absentee ballot as I could buy trying to vote as some dead person in person or what have you with essentially no risk.
Voter ID laws are like making sure that there is a $500 lock on your second story windows when the door to the front of your house is missing.

I think the chance of voter fraud is minor compared to the major risk of one of those Diebold machines giving an inaccurate count (whether by glitch or by intentional tampering/hacking).

That is a question that answers itself. Frankly, though, I would like to hope most people for these laws aren't trying to suppress the vote. Trying to take rights away from people is repugnant and is something I would only accuse the hard core political activists (from both sides frankly) of being capable of attempting.
