See, I knew Gabriel couldn't be the leak even though he kinda was. The girlfriend came completely out of left field and his reaction was played pitch perfect. You can really tell the effect Willie Ray's death has had on Brenda: without the introspection she's going through I don't think Brenda would have ever admitted that her decision about Baylor could have been the wrong one nor would she have taken responsibility for everything that happened afterwards.

For the second week in a row the ending just broke my heart.

They finally explained Pope's weird behavior, and why he didn't just tell Brenda what he was doing. It's all coming together, and it all makes sense now.

I agree that Gabriel's reaction to the gf was perfect. It really floored me when Flynn said "apology accepted", went to shake Gabriel's hand, then said "now put in for a transfer." That was a powerful moment.

Liked that Sanchez didn't say a word to Gabriel. Gonna miss this show. Don't know if I'll follow Major Crimes though. Sedgewick/Brenda is such an incredible actress/charactor. Don't know if thats replaceable.

90% of the cast is exactly the same. The only difference is Captain Raydor is running Major Crimes with Brenda leaving. Even Jon Tenney (Fritz) is returning as a recurring guest star.

Basides Kyra, only JK Simmons and Corey Reynolds are leaving.

Yeah, I love the cast and I think Mary McDonnell can carry a show but Brenda...........she's magic.
