I'm very confused by the bullet trajectory at the end. Both guys were facing forward but the same bullet got one through the chest and the other through the side?
I hope whoever the shooter is turns out to be the final bad guy and gets killed in the next episode. But I know that's not gonna happen. This absurd burn arc will never end. Hopefully there will be some more fun standalone capers to make it tolerable.

Would be interesting if Rebecca was the one to fire the shot with a Barrett. And I thought they intentionally made Nate extra annoying this episode to make Michael out to be a douchebag.

Loved the Sam and Barry show.
"Were you an all-star quarterback in high school?"
"I played Nathan Detroit in Guys and Dolls."
Am I missing something on the Fiona plotline? She's charged with 2 murders and they let her out in exchange for Michael catching Anson?
So, again we get a Big Bad being killed by yet another Big Bad. And the burn notice arc continues.

Kind of anti-climactic, I was hoping Michael would be the one to off Anson since he's been chasing him all this time.
Nice Evil Dead reference to Sam's boomstick.

That line was awesome.

Way too much Barry in this episode. The guy's a dbag, almost as annoying as Nate.
I do agree that it's lame that since Anson is dead there's a new villain in the main story arc. Ending was incredibly cheesy and cliche. The slow motion walk with the hair blowing in the wind, the 360 degree camera spin while Fi and Michael are hugging...ugh.

Caught up on my unwatched episodes this weekend - this episode in particular summarized everything that I both like and hate about this show.
The motivation for leaving Sam behind actually made sense, and provided one of the better B stories the show has had recently. That section was over the top, but it was a lot of fun.
But - there was absolutely no reason to include Nate on the mission -
And the Fiona plot was beyond useless. Seemed like something just thrown in to give her a little screen time.

When they mentioned that someone would die and then
showed up out of nowhere to help them out. My first thought was that there would be many happy people over at DVDtalk.

I always figured
would be the one they killed. He's really not that important in the long run, but key to giving Michael further motive to continue pursuing the bad guys. That was a disappointment that they also killed
. I was so hoping he would be a villain that stuck around and never got his come-uppance until the series finale.

Just caught up with the last 3 episodes so haven't been full up to date with everything regarding the show.
I notice from the first post that this was episode 6 out of 16-18. Has the show basically runs its course now? I haven't seen anything about renewing the series, but knew that the last renewal consisted of last season plus the current one.

I liked this episode a lot. They resolved two and a half major plots that I thought they were going to stretch out the whole season. The Spoiler'd death (#1) was cool in that I think I may shift the on going arch towards revenge for that, rather than the "finding who burned him" plot

I think it would be cool if the next arc is Michael trying to get revenge on the guy who killed Anson, who is another burned spy or something and had no intention of killing (spoiler) but he was collateral damage in killing Anson (especially how they shot it, making it basically just like he happened to be in the wrong spot at the wrong time)

I hope it was Lokken, shes a highlight on the show. Good to see Nate gone. Hopefully the mom and Fi follow suit. Best ep in a LONG while with the death and Bruce solo act.
