Synopsis:

Spoiler:
The search for Debbie Pelt becomes official when her parents come to Bon Temps to ask Andy to look for her, but Sookie is afraid of what they—and Alcide—might find out. Meanwhile, Roman mulls Bill and Eric's proposal to do away with Russell Edgington, though Salome has her own separate vetting process; and Jason has an uneasy reunion with an influential teacher from high school.

Wow I'm the first post? I liked this ep better than the first two. The hot councilwoman screwing everybody helped. I think this show needs to retry the orgy with vampires this time.

I agree with that! Bring on the vampire orgy please.

I thought tonight's episode was really good, and not just because we got more Eric and Pam flashbacks (although that helped a lot). It seemed like the various storylines started to fit together better, and I was glad to see the Merlotte's crew together again. I like their chemistry, seems some of them have been apart forever.

Vampire Newlin is a great addition to the show. I am still not sure about Vampire Tara though, but the extra time it gets Pam as her maker is all turning out to be awesome.

So far Tara hasn't bothered me at all, but I'd never been a Tara hater. Perhaps not a Tara fan at all times, but not a Tara hater. The scene where her senses open up and she can see a star field with much more clarity than the normal human eye was impressive. Laserlike focus. Hearing heartbeats. Improved smelling. Blinding speed. Superior strength. Being undead may be a bummer, but not totally.

Couldn't Eric have just healed Pam's arms with his blood? How does that work again?

So the guy with the 16 "sisters" has to be a

I love the contrast between Eric's conversation with Pam about the gravity of siring a vampire versus Pam's treatment of Tara.

I wondered that as well.

With the exception of the flashbacks with Eric & Pam and a little of the Tara stuff, I was bored with the other storylines and could have done without them.

Re: the council, what a bummer it must be to be a vampire stuck in a 10-year-old's body!

So far Sookie seems to be a secondary character this season. This doesn't bode well for us seeing her naked again...

I knew Jason's ex-teacher looked familiar - she played Anna Draper on Mad Men.

Yes!!! I knew she looked familiar. I thought she was on the show before. LOL!

I think it was a great episode. A lot of comedy, flashbacks, the story advanced a little. Too bad that they will make us watch the Terry story line.

I'm actually not hating Tara this season. It's still early, but her storyline is working for me so far. At least she's got a reason to be pissed off now.

Re: True Blood -- "Whatever I Am, You Made Me" -- 6/24/12

Third episode and I feel like nothing's happened this season. The Tara storyline is just dragging along at a fucking snails pace. Eric + Bill story SHOULD be interesting, but man, I'm bored. It's taking entirely too long to reintroduce Russell to the world.

I'm surprised I'm disliking this season so much so far, as I've pretty much enjoyed every season up until now. Hopefully this turns around quick for me.

Re: True Blood -- "Whatever I Am, You Made Me" -- 6/24/12

I'm actually liking this season a lot more than last, but the storylines I dislike I despise.

Like: Eric and Bill, Pam's backstory, the development of Jason, the Authority story

Despise: Terry and Arlene, Sookie/Tara/Lafayette/Alcide. - it seems these stories will have no bearing on the overall story arc for this season. Interesting to have the big star on the series take a secondary role.

I agree...three episodes in, and about three seconds of Denis O'Hare - what a waste. Not only does it feel like nothing's happened this season, it doesn't feel like anything's happened since Season 3! This is starting to become one of those shows that you watch simply because it used to be so good...now it's just kind of silly. I think it finally hit me Sunday night that TRUE BLOOD is now almost a camp version of its former self. I mean, remember when the stories used to be kind of serious?!

As that was one of my favourite storylines on Mad Men, I recognized her right away.

I expect (and hope) we'll be seeing more of her.

No, that guy was human and Claude can't read minds. Unless they've changed who he is and his powers for the show.

I still love the show. It's a must see every week but last night was prob. the most bored I've been with this show.

There were great parts, Pam & Eric stuff and Pam's last line made the whole episode worth it, but when Bill and that super snatch vampire were talking I almost passed out.

Can't wait for next week though!
