The last few seconds got cut off for me. What was said when Fi shoved that girl up against the wall?

The girl told Fi that someone put a cell phone in her bed, and left her a message that if she didn't kill Fi they'd kill her sister. Then she said something to the effect of "Somebody wants you dead." *Cue worried look on Fi's face*

Loved this episode. This show always requires some suspension of disbelief, but I like when they pull off an elaborate scam on some scumbag and also make it seem plausible. Jesse really sold it.

I also liked Fi's fight scene - it wasn't Nikita-level on the Skinny-Chick-Kicking-Ass scale, but good nonetheless.

Nitpick: Fi not knowing right away that the Queen of the Cell Block giving her the apple was a sign of her trying to make Fi her "bitch". Fi should be much more street-smart than that.

Nitpick: no prison shower scene.

^she plays "sleazy" pretty well

Did Gabrielle Anwar have some (more) work done on her face during the hiatus?

Not sure how they could NOT foresee that the scum had a DEA agent already in their pocket. But I always liked their ability to think fast and react to situations.

This was an entertaining episode, but I groaned when I saw Nate...the most annoying character by far. He always puts Michael in the shit.

And why does Nate have to stay with Michael?

Is that even necessary.
Spoiler:
They wrote him off pretty well when he became a family man. Bringing him back just for this is completely pointless. Well, other than to drag the already tired as hell burn arc even further.

Re: Burn Notice -- "Mixed Messages" -- 6/21/12

Yeah I thought this was a pretty fun episode.

At least for those of you who have been bitching about Anson and the Burn arc, it was more caper of the week. I loved how smooth Jesse was talking his way out of major jams with the drug dealers.

McGinley was a good guest star. Hopefully he will pop up again.

Fi was great. Loved her little fight scene with the prison thugs.

I absolutely hate Taryn Manning with a passion. Horrible actress and not pleasant to look at. She sucked in Sons of Anarchy and was horrible in Hawaii Five-O. Crossing my fingers that someone in the prison shanks her.

Re: Burn Notice -- "Mixed Messages" -- 6/21/12

I'd guess that Taryn Manning has about a four episode window to live at this point. Next week, they learn more about the danger her sister is in. The following week, the episode is about saving her sister. The week after that you'd think she'd die but she doesn't. The week after that boom she's dead.

That's total speculation.

Granted this is a very cheesy show (all USA Network shows are), but that fight scene with Fi at the end was awesome.

It'd be a nice twist that by the time Micheal goes to rescue Fi, she's queen of the prison.
