Synopsis.
The perfect marriage of Craig and Elise Landry is suddenly shattered when their young son is abducted and murdered. When the killer is brought to trial, he manages to plea bargain his way to a lighter sentence. Utterly outraged by this miscarriage of justice, the grieving parents decide to take matters into their own hands. They capture the murderer, imprison him and subject him to the same monstrous acts he perpetrated upon their defenseless child. The unforeseen consequences, however, challenge their ideas of vengeance, justice and the true nature of evil.
Has anyone heard about/seen this movie? I saw that it opens today in limited release, but has been on DVD/BD for the overseas markets.
I saw that it's available on Amazon.com for video on demand for a steep $9.99 rental. Just wondering if any horror nuts here know anything about this movie or have any thoughts. The Saw franchise has always been a guilty pleasure.

at you saying Jesse Metcalfe is the weak link.
He's also on the new Dallas continuation on TNT and alot of people are also saying he's the weak link on that too.
$10 is a little steep for a movie that's barely 80 minutes long. But it sounds like it's watchable if your a horror/torture porn fan.

Just saw this today.
My local video store put out the DVD early. It's due out this Tuesday.
The movie is really short (barely 80 minutes), but it packs a wallop with some really gruesome torture scenes. Not surprising coming from the Producers of Saw. Performance-wise, I think Jesse Metcalfe was miscast as the grieving father. I just don't think he has the acting chops to make the character sympathetic. Not that he would ever do such a movie, but I think someone like Kiefer Sutherland or even a Donnie Wahlberg would have been a more believable father. I thought Erika Christensen was fine as the mother.
Bill Moseley was really good and scary as the serial killer and the twist:
