This is definitely on my list to see. Hopefully it will be coming out on OnDemand or at an indie theater nearby. (My favorite Williams song is "The Hell of It"--it's very different from his other fine work, but its so damned catchy.)

^Did you ever get to see it? I loved every single moment of this film. No bullshit.

I saw this on Showtime and I was not a fan at first but I liked the movie.
Wonder how his career would have turned out if he did not get hooked on drugs and alcohol.
Good that he bounced back and seems happy with his life now.

I didn't care for it...or better said, I didn't care for Williams. It's easy to understand why his career nosedived - he's a pretty self-centered guy.

I was enchanted by the trailer, but the movie itself was just shoddy and meandering and the director was unprofessionally shoehorning himself into the story *way* too much. I would have preferred a A&E Biography doc on him, it would have done Paul Williams far better justice.
