Wow, they are adding so many DC Characters to this game. I hope it kicks ass. I'm not much of a fighter fan. I hated DC vs, Mortal Kombat...mostly because I hate MK. But this looks goood.

I played this at Pax Prime last year. I thought it was a blast. I'm an old school MK player, so if you really hate MK, maybe you won't like it.

I kept screwing up though, cause they took away the block button and use a "back" motion for blocking, Street Fighter-style.

I could have sworn there was already a thread on this game from last year, but I can't find it by searching. Weird.

So is this going to be like every other fighting game of the past year or so and be heavy on the paid DLC characters?

Yeah, I might be interested in this. But I get incredibly luke warm to anything that has an armada of DLC ready for release prior to the games actual launch. I'm looking at you Zombie Mode DLC.

Judging by the lead-in comic series, the story should be pretty good.

I might be more interested in fighting games if they had better stories. I'll see how this one turns out. The brief bit that I saw about them including the Red Son versions of Superman and Wonder Woman (and Solomon Grundy) looked interesting.

I've gotten a few DC statues recently, so they've brought this out at the right time. I'd be tempted to get the collector's edition if the statue looked better. Batman is in a horrible position. Looks more like Rodney Dangerfield trying to straighten his tie than the Dark Knight. And why is Wonder Woman carrying around baby Kal El's spaceship?

Yeah stupid review. "I hate MK so I am biased from the get go..."

Anyway, I loved the story in the last MK. It forced me to play characters I normally wouldn't and that was great. As long as Injustice has the same type of story flow, I'll be ok with that.

Just noticed Gamestop now has a "battle edition" that comes with a fightstick. $150 bucks though.

Yeah I'm expecting the game to frustrate the hell out of me because I never liked MK gameplay. But the amount of Characters it too much to pass up...I mean they dug kinda deep on this on i.e. I know that characters like are in this game among others.

Well, those two characters were connected fairly recently to some higher profile DC-based cartoons. Gimme Firestorm or Zatanna. I mean, the last Marvel game had guys like Nova, Iron Fist, and Rocket Raccoon...

Yeah but still, although was in Justice League Heroes on XBOX and was in the "Teen Titans" game with both characters being in their respective cartoons, neither is a character that gets used a lot in DC gaming.

I checked this out at PAX East and it was pretty cool, it also reminded me to pre-order it.

Downloaded the demo and played through it last night. Batman, Wonder Woman, Lex Luthor, and Doomsday are in the demo (Batman and Wonder Woman are playable). I enjoy fighting games from time to time and think this seems fairly average but it seems like it could be fun. I'm more or less interested in this for the story mode.
