Spoiler:
PIERCE AND THE STUDY GROUP PAY A VISIT TO HAWTHORNE ENTERPRISES - GIANCARLO ESPOSITO GUEST STARS - Pierce (Chevy Chase) is summoned to Hawthorne Enterprises to discuss his inheritance with his deceased father's former right-hand man, Gilbert Lawson (guest star Giancarlo Esposito, "Breaking Bad"). The study group goes with him for moral support and must all pitch in to play the video game of their life on Pierce's behalf - or risk losing his inheritance. Joel McHale, Gillian Jacobs, Danny Pudi, Alison Brie, Yvette Nicole Brown, Donald Glover and Jim Rash also star.

9pm The First Chang Dynasty (episode 20)

Spoiler:
THE STUDY GROUP MOBILIZES TO TAKE BACK GREENDALE - With Chang (Ken Jeong) in control of Greendale, the study group develops an elaborate plan to infiltrate the campus without being detected. While Chang becomes distracted planning a big birthday bash for himself, Jeff (Joel McHale) and the study group launch their sneak attack. Meanwhile, Troy (Donald Glover) enlists the help of the Air Conditioning Repair Annex to help with their break-in plan but knows he may be selling his soul to the devil. Chevy Chase, Gillian Jacobs, Alison Brie, Yvette Nicole Brown, Dany Pudi and Jim Rash also star.

930pm Introduction to Finality (episode 21)

Spoiler:
JEFF GOES UP AGAINST HIS FORMER LAW FIRM COLLEAGUE ALAN CONNOR IN GREENDALE SUMMER FUN COURT - ROB CORDDRY AND JOHN GOODMAN GUEST STAR - When Shirley (Yvette Nicole Brown) and Pierce (Chevy Chase) have a disagreement over their sandwich shop, Jeff (Joel McHale) agrees to argue on Shirley's behalf but much to his chagrin, Pierce retains Jeff's former colleague Alan Connor (guest star Rob Corddry, "Hot Tub Time Machine") and the two must square off in "Greendale Summer Fun Court." Meanwhile, Vice Dean Laybourne (guest star John Goodman) makes one last ditch effort to win Troy (Donald Glover) over to his Air Conditioning Repair Annex. Gillian Jacobs, Danny Pudi, Alison Brie, Yvette Nicole Brown and Jim Rash also star.

The first ep was awesome... stylistically.

Loved how Abed was the "game changer" in the ep.

"I guess there is no 'hug' button." - Britta

... and I just have to share this image...

I lost it when Troy just kept jumping over-and-over again in the beginning.

Abed's army of children chanting "Coca Cola."

Liked the nod to Breaking Bad as well.

Well, now we know why the order was switched around.

Epic.

So... should I watch in the order they aired or in the order of episode # listed above?

WHY do you put Britta in that magic outfit and NOT focus on her for more than a sec.

Re: Community -- 3 episode season finale -- 5/17/12

This season had a few rough patches, but they sure ended on a hot streak. All three episodes were classic Community, striking just the right balance of comedy, action, character development, and parody. I also love that they took everything they introduced this season and incorporated those things into the final episodes; not just that, but they used those same things to set the stage for the final season.

Britta looked great in that outfit.

There were just so many funny things during the three episodes that it's hard to remember them all.

The Dean being disappointed that Britta was the one rescuing him was great.

Troy: "No, no! Take him to the police. He murdered someone, he should be in jail." (paraphrased)

Amazingly, NBC may have had a point airing these in the order they did. First and third episodes were AMAZING. I love this show like some people love Jesus.

Introduction to Finality had a series finale feel to it. Ending made me slightly misty... like a little baby girl.

Yeah, Harmon said they wrote it not knowing if they'd get renewed, so that's the reason for that.

Also, did everyone else realize that it was heavily implied that Britta was sexually molested as a child?

I've said it before and I am sure I will say it again. I fucking love this show. 3 Great episodes. The last one did have a series finale vibe to it and brought a tear to my eye.

Re: Community -- 3 episode season finale -- 5/17/12

I thought maybe NBC had changed their mind because the episodes seemed to follow a logical progression. The court episode had a season finale vibe. I'm glad it was last instead of the (STILL FANTASTIC videogame episode).

Abed's children continue to disturb me hours after the show. A whole army of them, working away in a mine, like ants. And I got a chill up my spine when Abed was giving them a tour and they passed by a jail cell where a skeleton child hung from a noose.

Some of the episodes this season didn't work for me, but man did it end strong tonight. I really hope the show comes back.

Troy constantly jumping and Jeff jumping like Mega Man were just two of the MANY things I loved tonight.

So happy it's coming back. Six seasons and a movie indeed!

It's already been renewed, but for a shorter season and it will now be airing on Fridays.

The first episode was awesome. The whole part with Annie and Shirley inside the blacksmith's house was beyond awesome.

I also loved how Chang had an entire folder devoted to Chang Puns.

I'm glad I wasn't the only one. I know it's just a show, but man I love these characters.

Ballsy as hell to make a network show episode all 8-bit.

This. Passed everything else in the series for me. I'm totally biased based on the video game aspect, but it was fucking brilliant and can't believe they filled an entire episode with it. Staying on my DVR till the DVDs come out.

Troy always pressing a button of some sort was killing me.

I loved the video game episode. That could possibly be one of my favorite television show episodes of all time. The other two I didn't really care for; I would have been really disappointed if that was considered a series finale, especially since Annie really didn't have anything to do that entire episode.

Re: Community -- 3 episode season finale -- 5/17/12

These three episodes were standouts of the entire series and completely make up for an uneven season. The video game episode was particularly inspired and you really have to give it to NBC for sticking with a show with episodes as bizarre and insular as that.

I couldn't delete it either. I found myself studying the game aesthetics and not paying attention to the story at times, so I want to re-watch it on that alone.

Also, I want to actually play the game.
