Actually really dug this one (for a change) - next week is the season finale and Supernatural ususally does a good one.
Greenlit for another season as well - hopefully it will be much better.
For this Episode, I dug the whole teamwork thing and liked how it felt like older seasons by not jumping all over the place.

Very solid ep. I think they should have introduced the weapon plot far sooner. It could have given some consistent direction for the protagonists instead of the meandering about they've mostly done. I LOL'ed when the Alpha said see you next season.

yeah, the leviathans are starting to appear as a real threat, as opposed to an annoyance. it's helped that they established a pecking order with already known bad guys (vampires), so you get a sense as to how powerful they really are.

And I agree with tallguymike - the leviathon were actually not annoying for once.

I've had the last 6-8 eps stacked up on the DVR so this weekend I marathoned them thinking Ep22 was the finale. I was a little disappointed it wasn't, but on the other hand I'm glad I got caught up for the actual finale.
As for the season so far, my feelings are mixed on that too. I don't really like what they've done with Cas and Bobby. I realize they have to mix things up, but this yoyo-ing around of characters. I liked most of the monster of the week stuff.
Also, why can't they cast a Meg that's half as good (aka hot) as the original actress? ...(a google trip later)...OK, so that's the original Meg2 actress. Wow, I didn't even recognize her. I guess demons can fix broken bones, but not fat faces.
