Any good new freebies? I can't check until I'm home.

Didn't seem that great, but not all previews at least. Iirc, it was the usual DC preview, one 10 page preview, another (?) issue of Cyberforce, and a zero issue of something cheesy looking.

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

It looks like the Cyberforce release is the collection of the first five issues that Top Cow has already released for free. The zero issue of the cheesy looking thing is something written by Mary Jo Pehl, Dr. forrester from MST3K, so I'll give it a look.

I just can't remember what it's called.

It's called Jailbait, and I just read it, unfortunately.

No new sales today, just the continuing ones from before.

Today starts a three day Godzilla sale; all nine collections and the individual issues.

Also, Marvel is having a one day sale of 19 issues of the X-Men Inferno storyline, and 13 issues of the X-Terminators storyline.

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

I read Girls in collected format. While I doubt I will re-read it, I did enjoy the experience of reading it the first time. I would think it is worth the $1 an issue to check one out or the $20 for the omnibus.

^In that case, I recommend checking out the first issue and seeing if you like it. I think if you like the first issue, the miniseries would be worth reading.

Some Thor stuff for the Monday Marvel sale. I don't see why they include that one shot of Sif but not her (recently cancelled) series, I would have bought all of that.

Bought and read through Girls this weekend. Definitely worth a buy at that price, creepy stuff.

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

One of my LCS was offering some of those $1 first issues for free on Free Comic Book Day so I picked up Girls. Haven't read it, though. Just thought I'd contribute valuable info to the thread.

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

It really starts off well in that first issue (only one I've read so far). Given the combination of the sale and the Horror Challenge starting in an hour I couldn't resist and bought it.

I checked on hard copy prices first, as I still prefer those if they're cheaper, but went digital this time.

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

So $18 for 108 issues? That's a pretty sweet deal.

Edit: No, looks like the collections are $4-$5 a pop. Nevermind.
