Today starts a two day sale from IDW on 50 'Hidden Treasure' graphic novels at half price. Some good stuff like The Rocketeer is in there. I'm intrigued by something called The Comic Book History of Comics; anyone familiar with this?

I have the hardcopy of the trade. I love it. It is VERY dense. So, you'll want to read it in pieces. I believe it was called "Comic Book Comics" in monthly form.

Today starts a seven day sale from DC on mainly Superman Grant Morrison stuff. Included are the first 18 issues of the new 52 Action, the 12 issues of All-Star Superman, and then first issues of 13 other Grant Morrison titles.

Also, Top Shelf is having another huge sale, lasting six days. It says 90+ books, but only 64 are listed so far.

Amazon is matching or doing the same/similar Grant Morrison sale. 99 cents for a lot of issues.

Yep, exact same issues, except Action 18 is still full price at Amazon. They've been matching lots of Comixolgy sales lately.

I think I'll have to pick up all the Morrisson action issues. Maybe I'll just go digital with New 52 series and pick them up during sales.

It's usually worth checking out the Marvel app as well, because they do free books there that they don't list in the free section at Comixology.

This week it's Infinity War 1. But they don't list the new free books up at the top, they seem to list them by the date they were added digitally. So you'll need to look down through all the free options every week to find the new stuff.

Also, the free comics in Comixolgy are sometimes hidden under the separate publisher areas.
It wasn't this thread apparently, but someone here was pissed that they missed the 600 page $4 sales.

What's cool is that they had a sale on Captain Marvel not too long ago, so this time they put up issues that were after the run that had been on sale. I wish they did more of this.
