I haven't gotten a chance to watch this yet, but I think Shannon Nutt's wish for this to get cancelled so the 24 movie will finally get made might come true.
6.4M viewers and 1.9 (a series low) 24's final season, which was it's lowest rated still did better than this.
I'm guessing most people just aren't resonating with Kiefer not playing Jack Bauer. I kind of like Touch, but I don't love it like 24. I know this is more geared towards a family audience.

I quit after about 3 episodes because all Kiefer did was run around yelling, "Jake! Jake!"
(Popped in here to see if things had improved. I guess not. )

I watched the first episode and didn't like it all too much. I'm recording the rest, and will await the fate of this show before deciding on watching, or deleting.

Will she wear a hat? Maria Bello, who starred on NBC's short-lived Prime Suspect, has landed a multi-episode arc on Fox's Touch. Deadline first reported the news.
Bello will play an earth-mother type whose daughter had a similar gift to that of Jake (David Mazouz), the mute, autistic son of Martin (Kiefer Sutherland) who can predict future bad events. If the show is renewed, she could potentially become a series regular in Season 2.
Touch returned Thursday to respectable numbers, earning 11.7 million viewers and a 3.2 in the adults 18-to-49 demographic.

Not a bad episode. Seems like it might be getting into the territory that the film Pi got into. The girl playing the blogger was really cute and endearing.

Meanwhile, a young Italian man creates a viral video to track down the love of his life, whom he only met in passing,
This episode was ok but average.
Why are there lava lamps at the board and care facility where Jake stays?

They would be really useful for an angry kid to use to smash over someone's head when throwing a tantrum.

Now that summer is here I'm finally getting around to watching this (now I know that season 2 was picked up) and I'm really liking it. I always seem to like story arc shows when i can watch them one right after another.
The reason I'm posting after this episode is that I noticed at the end when the dad wrote "1188" after the "975" in the sequence on the blackboard he forgot the "6" inbetween that was established last episode. It annoyed me.
