If I had to do that fucking dance routine, I'd still be in India by the time it aired.

I wonder if the producers didn't tell the judge to just let Mark through after the other four teams finished the leg.

It appeared to me that they let him slide through. They had to do something since it was a non-elimination but you still need the team to finish. Plus I'm sure the producers wanted that feel good moment to see him finally finish the task.

Based on what we saw in that last take, he sure didn't get the dance down. B&R aren't likeable people, but I was very happy to see them finish that cricket challenge before those tools Art & JJ.

I think the forehead the the jackass are the only team I can actually root for at this point.

From the preview for next week:
Spoiler:
It looks like Rachel is crying because she has to shave her head (or cut her hair at least?). Brendon already did that on Big Brother. If that's the case it will be easier for the all male teams.

It was some weird editing. One minute, they were ready to quit. Then cut to commercial and they said one more try. I think the producers stepped in and "strongly suggested" they continue.

They mentioned just taking the penalty. I assume it would have just been a time penalty. How much time would that have added? Why didn't they just do that?

Re: The Amazing Race 20 -- "Bollywood Travolta" -- 4/22/12

I think I'm going to pull for Dave and Rachel to win it all. They have been doing pretty well the last few legs. Rachel seems like a pleasant woman, but Dave can be a pushy douche sometimes.

Rachel kicked ass on the Bollywood dance.

Art and JJ are fucking babies. This little grudge they have against them is so childish.

I'm kind of glad that Mark and Bopper are still in it, but they have no chance. Bopper had a bad knee and Mark nearly died of heat stroke during that dance. Plus, he's so sensitive to motion. They have their work cut out for them.

Re: The Amazing Race 20 -- "Bollywood Travolta" -- 4/22/12

Pulling for Team KY. Not because they're good ole boys (Bopper got on my nerves early in the show but he's grown on me, and I like the real friendship between them along with the comedy & the all-out effort). I didn't even care if the producers manipulated the results to keep them in it. It's just that I don't care for the other teams at all. They're either mean (to each other & other teams) or whiny. All of the other teams I liked fell by the wayside earlier.

Looks like Dave & Rachel are the clear favorites now.

It's hard not to pull for these two, especially considering the other teams that are left. They've got a major uphill climb going forward. They need things to really go right for them in the next leg to have a chance. The preview at least makes it appear that there's a ray of hope.

That's exactly what happened because there's no way he did that dance correctly. I figured everyone had finished by then so the producers called whomever was running production at that site and said - let 'em pass.

I'm never a fan of the tasks which require subjective approval.

I'm so fucking sick of Big Brother Rachel's simpering. Also cannot stand the border patrol twats.

It's a 4 hour penalty for skipping a Roadblock or Speed Bump. Skipping a Detour is a 6 hour penalty.

Agree on both counts. But I like having Rachel there because she annoys other people way-y-y more than she annoys me, and that's kind of entertaining in and of itself.
