I would think Malcolm in the Middle would be the better association for this Cranston directing this one

Mitch and Cam on the loudspeaker (and their gay/straight discussion) were the highlight of this episode.

It does feel like an episode of Malcolm in the Middle.

The "dimpled Chad" joke was funny...would have been better if they'd gone with "hanging Chad". I wonder if that was a debate in the writers' room?

I know I'm going to sound like a word Nazi, but hang does not equal hung, especially in this case.

Mitch and Cam gossiping over the loudspeaker was pretty funny.

I'm glad Claire didn't win. Was never a fan of this cheesey political plot with her and David Cross over that stupid Stop sign.

at Haley and the family getting excited about a waiting list.

Wow, maybe I was just in a bad mood, but I thought that was one of the very worst episodes of this usually fantastic show.

The jokes, across the board, seemed much more like the cheap gags you hear on average shows like the Big Bang Theory or bad shows like Two and a Half Men.

Gloria was like a cartoon character in that episode.

The kids and Phil were really the only things I liked (for the most part) from this one.

And it's probably why they went with dimpled...but I like the jokes where you have to connect the dots on Modern Family more than the "obvious" ones.

Luke giving the high five for "old people occasionally forget things" had me laughing pretty hard.
