About the casting:
I'll tolerate seeing Cathy Cahlin Ryan on the show, but if they throw Autumn Chiklis a part I'm crying foul.

I'm pleased to say that I figured it was going to be Limehouse. With that said, there is no way I came close to figuring out anything but Limehouse and a very sharp knife.
ETA: Goodbye Arlo. Hell of a way to end the season. I agree with Boyd -- Raylan may be Arlo's son, but Boyd and Arlo are family.
I cannot imagine where it goes for season four.

It's going to be a long wait til next season.
Overall, I didn't enjoy this season as much as the first two, primarily because I didn't think the performances of the antagonists matched those of the first two years. However, the last three eps really made up for any shortcomings, and solidified the show's place on every best of list. Outstanding TV and a terrific finale.

Damn! So many twists and turns this episode and the crazy part is that while the got rid of one guy (technically two), the rest of the main players are around and they added a new one as well. Season 4 should be pretty awesome.
The ending scene seemed a bit weird, with the "narration", but ended up really well. With her dawning realization of what Raylan's last line meant, and the look on her face, Winona closed up the season pretty neatly. (And I thought it was pretty cool that Raylan learned that what Boyd said, during their office conversation, was true because of how Arlo solved so many problems in the end.)
Another great line, thought not as good as "piggy bank"; "Know what they're saying at the office? I disARMED him."

Oh, and I've been complaining all season about Limehouse's constant threatening use of sharp objects. But they sure used Chekhov's gun tremendously. Bravo.

Funny how Quarles just stood there for a second, then meekly reached out for his missing limb.

Nice end to the season. I especially loved how they tied up the loose end with the gun used to kill Gary ("That one you can keep."). The attention to detail on this show is what makes it so special.

Loved the scene with Duffy and Raylan. I was rooting for Duffy to get Quarles the whole episode and become the big heavy working for Arkin next season. Who knows, maybe it'll still happen.

Quarles may be a pill poppin' boy raper, but at least he's always down for a good laugh. He would've found the "disarmed" comment hilarious!

I was hoping that maybe Quarles would have made it since he was already hopped up on the pills to survive a transport to the hospital? Unless Limehouse and Raylan just left him there to bleed out.
