I gotta admit it would be kind of cool if Walter listens to Radiohead.

I'm gonna have to watch that one again. Loved the FBI uniform on the Cow.

I love Fauxlivia. She's so warm and natural compared to her counterpart.

Some good lines in this episode that I can't recall at the moment.

Solid episode as usual.

at Walter's cow in the FBI jacket and hat.

You know I honestly never really cared about Lincoln, but they actually made a pretty compelling episode centered on him.

to Orange alternate Lincoln

Okay, I don't want to confuse myself too much, but does this mean that Red alternate Lincoln is also dead?

Agree with David, It's funny too that Orange alternate Bolivia is so warm and nice. Red alternate Bolivia was actually kind of a bitch.

Re: Fringe -- "Everything In Its Right Place" -- 4/06/12

Lincoln's whole self doubting schtick stems from his inability to admit he's GAY!
Just go through all his speeches when he talks about his dead partner. He was obviously in love with him. The writers muddy the waters with trying to make him somehow pine after Olivia but to me it's bleedingly obvious he had a thing for his ex partner.
He couldn't understand why he was different from his alternate since they grew up pretty much similar. Come out of the closet Linc and you'll be as sure of yourself as your alt!

Red Walternate was also pretty much a Doctor Doom level super-villain, whereas the new orange Walternate seems much less so, from what we've seen of him.

I have to wonder why Peter's death on the "blue" side would change those two characters so much when he never had any contact with them until recently. Aside from William Bell crossing over to the red side, there doesn't seem to have been much contact between the two universes.

Not necessarily, because orange alternate Broyles is still alive.

Great episode from start to finish. I like how the amber zones are being restored in this time line, but I have to wonder if the same thing would be happening in the red alternate universe too.

Are you suggesting that he is a shapeshifter?

Isn't that the current assumption ever since it was revealed that he was working with Jones?

Ok, this was an outstanding episode. I always really liked Red Lincoln but I was never really feeling Orange Lincoln. They finally made me like Orange Lincoln but it came at the cost of Orange Alternate Lincoln (damn, could that make any less sense?).

Orange Fauxlivia is just a cool chick but they've really done a good job of softening Orange Olivia this season too.

As I was typing my post I was thinking the same thing. The show is impossible to pick up on at this point. It's so dense that I think at some point during season 2 the writers said F' it and started just telling the stories they wanted to tell and not worry about new fans picking it up.

okay I am confused, can someone explain the references to orange, red, and blue. I thought broyles died last season? I also think lincoln is in love with Olivia.

LOL!

I think Olivia is hot. But Fauxlivia, either color/version/alternate reality, is just smoking. I can spend all night thinking of all the dirty things I would do to her. But not to Olivia.

It's a reference to the color shown during the opening credits. The original credits for the first year or so were blue, when they started showing the alt universe the credits were red and if you looked closely the "fringe" sciences shown were different. Now this season with the merged universes the credits the color shown during the credits is orange.

So yes Broyles from the red universe died last season but since things are different since Peter "died" Broyles didn't die in our current universe.

I've seen every episode of the show and have no idea what's going on (slight exaggeration, maybe)

Even the writers at this point seem a little lost on the alternate universes. By now the only viewers left are the ones who tolerate the confusion for the characters themselves.

I vastly prefer the real Olivia to her alternate versions. Mainly because they don't seem like realistic characters but simply bizarro versions of the real deal.

I think Fauxlivia and Walternate seem very realistic. I think Astrid is the only one that seems like a bizarro version.
