wow. a Zimmerman shooting an unarmed black man... life imitates art (when was this ep finished?)
This was another strong episode and showcase for Julianna Margulies. After butting heads with the blue ribbon panel, I'm guessing that encounter with Jackie at the hair salon was going to be more than just a verbal smackdown - thus the fade-to-black
And kudos to Matthew Perry for getting rid of the stink of Mr. Sunshine (yay)

Very strong episode.
Enjoyed Matthew Perry as the guest star. There was actually a few pretty known guest stars in that panel that Alicia participated in.
One of the strongest parts of the episode was Alicia writing the note to the owner of their old house and reminiscing about the good and bad times there. The flashbacks were really poignant.
at Kalinda flirting with Lana openly in the FBI lunch room.
at Jackie screwing over Alicia with the offer for the house. I liked how it ended on a cliffhanger of sorts.

My wife called it 1/2 way into the episode, or got close to it, she said I bet Peter is buying the house.
What's stupid is Jackie has now spent $200K more than she needed to in order to buy it.
And for what? to install Peter in it? I love the show, but they could loose a couple of characters and we'd be all the better for it.
That and the whole partner shuffle. They don't need a new head partner, what if Will had gone off to do 6 months of work for habitat or something like that?

Yeah, that partner thing is weird. I just don't get why those guys are vulturing over that spot - I mean, if he were gone for a couple years I MAY understand, but 6 months is relatively quick (and it's already been a month or so) - and then what? It just doesn't make much sense, especially when Pete will soon be back in his position and there'll be all this professional animosity over something so insubstantial.

Jackie bought the house so now if Alicia and the kids actually moved back, she can come and go in the house all she wants and no one can stop her.
This is because Alicia dared to tell her not to be so nosy into her life and no one tells her what to do.

I don't think Alicia would go back now, because Jackie has it, but at the end of the episode Jackie looked like she had a hold card, so maybe she is going to blackmail Alicia. Maybe tell her to pretend to be a family in the house until Peter runs for office, and then she can have the house free and clear?
