Is it just one? Seems like they're both complete tools, maybe it's just early and I can't tell them apart yet.

Not a big Rachel fan but seeing her jump around after finishing the bottle detour was very "exciting".

Man that was too close for my Dave & Rachel bet. I honestly though practically every other team would screw up the bottles, but nope, just my team. Go figure. Nearly gave me a heart attack.

TAR Nerd Alert: Phil was wrong when he said Dave and Rachel were the first team to not complete a task but not get eliminated. The year Boston Rob was on the race, there was a challenge that involved eating an ungodly amount of meat. He couldn't do it and wound up taking a four hour penalty. The genius part is that he then convinced several other teams to give up on the task as well, thereby ensuring that he wouldn't be the last to leave the task.

Could Dave and Rachel use the express pass on the bottle task if they still had it?

I think what Phil was saying was that Dave and Rachel didn't complete any challenge. They skipped one challenge with their pass and then had to take a penalty onthe bottle challenge thus they did not complete anything on that whole leg of the race.

Entertaining leg complete with a huge comeback at the end.

The Border Patrol guys are hard to like, but they sure dominated the challenges in the episode.

Love the close finish and the editors ramping up the bottle-breaking suspense towards the end.

Pretty cool leg. Didn't think the watermelon task was going to be that difficult.

Pitstop chick was stunning

Dave and Rachel probably got lucky with the 2 hour penalty. With his head and all that wetness, he could have been there a long long time.

Vanessa and Ralph should have switched that watermelon task long ago. That task was insane. It's not about teaching anyone a lesson not to quit ... it's about winning a race for 1 million dollars. You lose the battle to win the war.

I thought it was a waist of the FF, why not try the task and see how you do. If you see many finishing and leave, then use it. As it was they lucked out that they were so far ahead the 2 hours didn't kill them but they did not know that when they used the FF.

The Border Patrol guys seem like they would be cool to hang out with and drink a beer, but the second they bring up politics i'm leaving.

I agree, they should have went to the harp one at least and tried it, and if they were one of three teams left then go and use the pass. If they did that and saved the pass they could have then used it for the bottle task.

That's the one time I wish I hadn't watched the "this season on the Amazing Race" promo after the first episode. There is a memorable scene involving Vanessa and Ralph that hasn't aired yet. I knew they weren't going home.

I was so hoping the Divorced Daters were going to be the ones last tonight so I could go "That's what you get for making fun of Rachel's hoo hah!"

Now however I'm saying "The hoo hah decided to be generous to you and have you come in next to last".

Did everyone see the preview for next week?

Spoiler:
More whining from the "Event Hostess". She's insufferable.

Yet in the end, most of us were rooting for her on Big Brother because everyone else was worse.
