What a spectacular episode! The whole morality play was brilliant and the nice swerve at the end there. It is becoming clear what direct this show is heading in. And I think from this point forward, you will either be in the love category or stop watching one.

HOLY CRAP! Did not expect that.
I mean, we already knew they weren't tied to the comics, but I didn't expect that character to have such a different end.

great episode. I think the writing on the show has gotten much better (except that T-Dog got no lines even at the meeting). Dale did have a point about the need to maintain humanity. Someone else needs to fill that void now. Lori is the worse mother in the world. She can't be bothered to keep an eye on Carl for 5 minutes leading to all of this. Looking forward to the rest of the season.

So, Dale comes across a cow that's clearly been mauled and he doesn't, ya know, LOOK AROUND? , Dale. Your high horse will be missed.
to Rick not taking the shot. That guy's going to be trouble. And can't Lori at least keep an eye on her son while there's a freakin' execution going down?
I'm surprised how much I liked this episode, since it was mostly Dale making the same speech over and over. They continue to do great work with the zombie makeup.

Damn, did I miss a scene at the end? What happened to Daryl?!?
Actually, I think T-Dog did have a line or two at the meeting.
I thought for sure that Carl was going to kill the prisoner. First, when he went in where he was being held...then I thought they would hear a shot during the meeting and Carl would have taken care of things. But I think Carl lost Daryl's pistol in the muck, right?
And who is the other male that is part of Hershel's family? Is he married to one of Hershel's daughters? Are there only the two daughters or am I missing one? Anyway, I didn't see him at the meeting.

Daryl's fine. Madcougar obviously got Dale and Daryl's names mixed up.
I was waiting for Carl to shoot somebody the whole episode. Oh well.

From the clip shown of next week's episode shown during Comic Book Men:
Anyone else miss the old AMC logo they would show before the show (other AMC shows too) that had pictures of the characters inside the AMC letters? I liked that better than their new computer animated logo. I assume it's gone for good.

Apparently the actor playing Dale was the unhappy cast member.
Wonder where that leaves Shane? Did AMC pull a fast one?

Holy shit. Did not see that coming! Was that the spoiler pic from the last thread? A yes or no will suffice.
Well done, Walking Dead, I actually sat there shocked for the rest of the episode as soon as the stomach opened up. Matter of fact, it was the first time a sudden death shocked me in a tv or movie since:
