After 2 really great episodes, this was just alright. It had some good moments though.
at Dominika dancing around to Amy Grant and then Park's reaction.
Park: "Amy Grant, Really?"
at Wilson playing a British neighbor when the INS guy was visiting House and Dominika.

Isn't Park a little young to recognize that Amy Grant song or even know who Amy Grant is at this point?

In all seriousness, Amy Grant is probably one of the most well known Christian music singers of the last 30 years.

Seems like the "wife" might be the storyline that wraps up House. Maybe she really does love him and House falls in love with her too and changes.

I thought the episode had some good laughs, still more than most "comedies" I watch nowadays. I'll miss this show.

Re: House -- "Man of the House" -- 2/20/12
If House fundamentally changes, I'll be disappointed. There are two major things that make House who he is:
1) What he's been through in his life.
2) A highly reasoned analysis of human behavior.
Should he wake up one morning and stop believing people lie? Why? They do.
Should he stop believing people act out of selfish motives? Why? They do.
Should he stop believing that "being nice" is largely irrelevant to problem solving? Why? It is.
House isn't House because he doesn't know any better and just needs a revelation. He usually knows exactly what he's doing and just doesn't care. Didn't we go through that with Cuddy? Even though he was in love with her, he couldn't stop being who he is because it's who he is. House is a bitter old man because of #1, and that could be alleviated some with happiness, but let's not go overboard.
I'm OK with him finding some happiness with Dominika, but they shouldn't cop out and give us a love conquers all happy ending. House could be a 90-year-old and he'd still be asking his granddaughter why she's wearing a low-cut tight-fitting dress (with fancy undies underneath) to the prom if she's not expecting to have sex.

$50 seems like a cheap raise. And House agreeing to split it with Taub makes even less sense. At what their salary would be $50 and especially $25 after its split is lunch money for the day.

So pretty much ax extra $1 an hour (for a normal 50 hour work week - which we know these guys do more of).
