hell, check out Last Days of Disco. it's his most accessible and easy to watch. i prefer Barcelona the best though. VERY Woody Allen and Noah Baumbach like.

Saw this film this morning. My first Stillman film and I am not sure why I hadn't checked them out before. Completely bizarre writing, but the odd dialogue works really naturally in this film (and Greta Gerwig in particular delivers everything really well). Hilarious and recommended.

I saw this theatrically and disliked it. Everyone but the guy who never learned the colors takes it far too seriously, and as a result, his small part is perhaps the most entertaining bit of the film. I did laugh at a couple scraps of dialogue ("Talks?" and "I miss my American friend." are the only two that stood out), but it just isn't much fun overall, and it stumbles to an incredibly lame conclusion.
For the record, I rather enjoyed Barcelona and The Last Days of Disco.
