Avoid Savemore.com
Back in December I posted a deal in the Barnes & Noble Thread about Savemore.com. They're similar to Groupon, offering gift cards around half price. That order worked out for me. And I hope it worked out fine for any other DVDTalkers that placed an order based on my post.
But since then, my Savemore order on a Papa Johns gift card has been a complete mess. They never sent the gift card, haven't processed a refund as they promised, and now they aren't answering my emails.
The Better Business Bureau has given them an "F" rating based on numerous customer complaints that have gone unresolved. They also put out a report to warn customers:

Their local CBS news station did a story on the customer complaints.

So stay away from any Savemore.com deals. And I'm sorry if anyone got screwed on the B&N deal I posted.

Yeah, I'm still waiting on my Barnes & Noble card or a refund.
Have you found a way to contact them other than phone? That should have been a red flag right from the get-go.

Re: Avoid Savemore.com
I'd been using their email address. But they stopped answering my emails about 2 weeks ago.

You could also try filing a complaint with the BBB. It says there have been 300+ complaints filed. Looks like BBB helped resolve almost 200 of the complaints. So it might not be a total waste of time.

Dumb question but you did go to the site and then request it get sent? I think it was mid-December when you had to do that so it would ship.

Re: Avoid Savemore.com
There was an e-mail address on their Facebook page around the beginning of January to contact them about the B&N offer.
A couple of days later I got an e-mail from someone in their organization named Michael saying I would be added to a priority list to get my B&N gift card in one or two weeks.
I waited about a week as the complaints piled up on SlickDeals and Facebook, and I filed a chargeback claim with AMEX instead. Got my $15 back in 24 hours.
If you haven't received anything by now, I would just go through your credit card company (a five-minute call or filling out an online form is all it takes) and save yourself anymore frustration.

I just went through my CC company to get my money back.
People need to be spamming their FB page with how shitty they are.
