Anyone ever fix their 360 themselves? If so what did ya use and how were the results?

Give it the ol' towel trick and trade it in to Gamestop...($100 credit towards a new one)

assuming you are outside of the rrod warranty?
when i had my rrod, ms had me a replacement within a week

Yeah, was outside the warranty. Also have a Halo 3 edition and didn't want to chance getting it replaced with a regular anyways. Fixed it myself last night. Got some screws, washers and thermal glue then followed a YouTube video. So far so good
