No comments? What was that bit at the end? I played it a couple times but Routh mumbled his lines.
Loved the beginning:
Chuck: I have a plan. We're going to make Shaw wish he never broke out of jail.
Casey: Uh, that plan's a little vague.
And Stan Lee a spy?

Shaw says, "Glad you came. I'll be locked in solitary the rest of my life, but one thing's gonna keep me warm at night. A little something I put in motion that you'll never be able to stop. Do you remember Hungary? Does Chuck know about the baby?"
I didn't watch the preview for next week since they've been showing way too much lately, and I'd rather be a bit in the dark.
Stan Lee's everywhere.
Liked Ellie popping up to save the day and the exchange between Casey and Alex with Casey's growth toward the charms of the bearded one. I was expecting another "Pineapple" at the Buy More. Always like holiday episodes of Chuck.

Wow, I hated this episode. And I never thought I'd say that about Chuck. It had a moment or two, but the whole plot, Shaw, the reveal, just awful IMO.

This arc would no doubt have been fleshed out a lot more and probably would have been close to 13 episodes in length. They've still got I believe two more "Big Bads" to go in the rest of the episodes.
As for what was in the ending?
I'm calling it that Sarah's pulling a Nikita:
Spoiler:
As it is, i'm surprised Shaw never once called Sarah by her real name, especially since she revealed it to him back when they were dating.
Then again, i'm still wondering why she hasn't told it to Chuck since they're you know, married and all.

The story arc for the whole season has been somewhat of a disappointment to me. Decker was kind of cool, and i've always liked Shaw, but the execution and revelation of both were just terrible.

Not a great episode, but it did have some memorable moments--like Chuck and General Beckman in a liplock!

I actually liked this and last weeks episodes. Like old chuck.
Things are being rushed a bit for obvious reasons.
I liked how they made things a bit serious this episode.

I just wish they had a full season to wrap things up. By and large, this season has been a pretty good attempt at a return to form. If they had more time, I'm sure things would have gone even better/not felt rushed.
That said, I enjoyed most of this episode, aside from the rushing of things. Still hope Timothy Dalton returns. (I'm sure it may have been mentioned in another Chuck thread, but I don't keep encyclopedic references around. I'm lucky I remember what happened 10 minutes ago... when I do.) I like Morgan's speech, the character into which he's changed/grown, and other than that too fast hiccup with the bad intersect, watching him mature as a person has been a really cool sidebar to the main plot.
(I'm just grateful for one more season of Yvonne. The shows being good has been the icing on the cake.)

I know! It actually looked to me like they blurred her chest a teensy bit when they first show her tied up.

I wish I hadn't known Shaw was coming back before this episode.
I did like his evil personality though - we because it was actually that, a personality. Is it weird though that with so many deaths that he's still alive?
What sits funny for me is that Shaw was aledgedly behind so much of this. They really gave the impression that there was more going on within the intelligence community and that Chuck himself was part of a larger plan going back before the pilot.
Also, better not be Sarah's baby. As others have pointed out, such an event doesn't fit with the timeline.
Side note - I've been catching up on White Collar. I think it would be really funny if one of the last scenes is Sarah and Chuck catching a glimpse of Bryce as he slips away. Yes, I know he is "dead".
