John, I'm sure that the title at the top should read: Columbiana. Not a bad Zoe Saldana flick.

Re: Target Media Prices (December 18th - 24th, 2011)

I would consider Chuck season 4 DVD for $24.99 (since I have the previous seasons on DVD), but the BD has an exclusive video commentary with the cast, so I'm waiting for that one to drop.

Will probably get the Dumbo BD for $19.99, but I will see if Amazon is matching it 1st.

Will wait until One Tree Hill drops below $20.

Re: Target Media Prices (December 18th - 24th, 2011)

Nothing for me. I love their attempt to make extra profit this season by jacking up the prices for the family Christmas movies! $10 for a DVD is too much to pay for any title. Unfortunately, many people don't realize that and will probably pay these prices instead of waiting until the off season for a much better price/deal.

Maybe I'm not looking in the right places, but I never see good deals on Christmas movies year round. Stuff like Home Alone, Jingle All The Way, A Christmas Story, etc.

I've always hoped they'd put the Christmas movies on clearance the week after, but I've never seen that happen. They just sit there at regular price for a while then I guess they go back in the warehouses til next Christmas.

Update.

Change of plan, I'm not going to my friends over the weekend. So I'll post the game and CDs as usual.

Re: Target Media Prices (December 18th - 24th, 2011)

I picked up The Bionic Woman Seasons 1 and 2 for $8.99 each this morning.

Looks like they are the same price at Target.com right now.

Re: Target Media Prices (December 18th - 24th, 2011)

Visited the store earlier, with the exception of more $4.75 DVDs than were listed in the ad, the only other thing I saw there besides the ad priced items were all 4 seasons of Heroes for $8.99 ea. Shelf was still well-stocked so I can see how interested people were in getting them at that price. I know that my wife & I made it almost to the end of Season 2 before we finally said screw it and quit watching. Too many different stories going on in each episode and nothing coherent ever happened. We just got tired of watching it. -kd5-

Picked up NCIS: Season 8 for $24.99.

Now if I could just find Season 7 for that price...

Season 2 can be blamed on the writer's strike. It had a great set-up and then they just...simply went in another direction because of the strike. The deleted scenes point to a show that would've been so much more awesome to watch as it would've involved an outbreak type plotline.

I lost all patience for the show in Season 3 when they pulled a "lost powers" storyline. I hear Season 4 was okay at times, but eh...

Re: Target Media Prices (December 18th - 24th, 2011)

Question..........doesn't the $14.99 Lion King DVD diamond edition still have the blu-ray also? Just in DVD and not blu-ray packaging? It seems odd like that just getting the bigger DVD package gets you the blu-ray as well, but for $5 less.

Anyone know is PSYCH S4 & S5 are going for at TARGET? The TARGET website says "Sale Price" but doesn't give any other info. Lemme know if any of you guys know when you get a minute. I just recently got into the show and watch to catch up watching S3 (already bought on eBay), S4 & S5 over the holiday weekend. Thanks in advance guys and Happy Holidays...

For the Disney releases, there is a separate DVD-only release about 3-4 weeks after the initial Blu-ray/DVD and DVD/Blu-ray combos.
