Loved Ron running out of the courtroom when he sensed Tammy II and Leslie giving instructions to Andy and he drifts off halfway though

Another great episode. I can't remember the last time they put out a mediocre ep. Everything has been great since the poor season 1.

I liked the ending with the stenographer reading the transcript and starting with how Ben was telling Chris to stop jumping.

Park and Rec cast members get their own House banners ala Game of Thrones:

I don't undertand why anyone watches this crap. It's just not funny. I don't find any of the characters funny and they seem to add new cast members every episode. Who are all these people. It's certainly no where near as funny as The Office.

Ok, ok... I just wanted to go into a thread of a show I don't watch/care for and thread crap to see what it's like. Seems kinda douchy. Carry on.

The "frozen whore" line got a from me. Great episode, as always.

Hasn't the Gary/Jerry thing come up before? I swear we talked about it on DVDTalk before. I think there was a sign or a credit that said Garry or Gary or Gerry and got everyone talking about that.

I got quite a few chuckles as usual. Ron always brings the funny.

Draven - there was an episode where Jerry's name was spelled "Gerry" on a powerpoint or something and people were arguing about the spelling of his name. This is the first time we've been made aware that his name's not even Jerry/Gerry at all!

Didn't they show his original ID card just a few weeks ago? Is there a screen cap of it somewhere?

yeah, it was when he was working with Tom on rebranding the Parks Dept. Kind of a minor contradiction.

This show, much like the current incarnation of 'The Office' seems to vary widely in the level of 'funniness' in each episode.

If you watched the 2nd season when it came back in its revamped form the writers were REALLY firing on all cylinders and I think every episode felt like a comedy classic. Since then it seems to have gone downhill, especially this season. The idea of adding Rob Lowe and Adam Scott seemed unnecessary but they resulted in some pretty great episodes last season, this season not so much. I think the comedy has gotten a lot more mainstream revolving around the main characters' love story and lost a lot of the quirky edgy WTF moments it had in its better days.

It pretty much hit or miss these days just like The Office but its still better than anything else on at that time so I stick with it. Plus, every now and then they manage to hit one out of the park and I laugh my ass off...

Re: Parks and Recreation -- "The Trial of Leslie Knope" -- 12/01/11

I'm concerned about taking Ben Wyatt out of the city office. In some ways, he acts as the "Jim Halpert" of the show.

It's kind of funny. I like Parks and Recreation, and I like Rashida Jones, but I do not like Rashida Jones on Parks and Recreation. Her character is kind of a waste of time, and I think the show would be better off if they got rid of both her and Rob Lowe. I am little more tolerant of the Chris character, but he's better in small doses, and Rob Lowe's too famous to play a small dose character.
